Purlox August 31, 2012 August 31, 2012 Unhallucinate? You should write a how-to on that, you might win the Nobel Prize for Psychology. I have the ability to change a picture of seemingly random objects and shapes into something less random like human face. Of course this isn't changing the picture, but my perception of it. I can at will again change my perception back and see random stuff in there. So because I have the ability to alter my vision on low level (including both creating and un-creating stuff) by changing already existing picture into something else, then someone who can do this on high level by imposing an object of something into his environment should be able to un-create it too.

Good, write a how-to on it because the population of schizophrenics sure want to know how you do it.
Purlox August 31, 2012 August 31, 2012 Good, write a how-to on it because the population of schizophrenics sure want to know how you do it. I don't know yet if it is applicable on high level (imposition), so I'll wait until I learn that.
Frosty August 31, 2012 August 31, 2012 Well, schizophrenics did not induce/produce or otherwise create their hallucinations consciously, so it makes sense that they would not be able to consciously control them or make them disappear. We created our hallucinations, isn't that one of the big differences between being a tulpa creator and a schizophrenic? So it would make sense that if we consciously created the hallucinations, that we could consciously remove/destroy them as well. I don't think any methods we devise for getting rid of hallucinations or visualizations would have any affect of people with schizophrenia. Phi August 31, 2012 August 31, 2012 Well when I said hallucinations as a risk to tulpaforcing, I meant hallucinations that you don't consciously impose. Why would hallucinations you impose on purpose be a 'risk'?

Why would hallucinations you impose on purpose be a 'risk'? Nevermind then.
