Leopard September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 So I've been trying to imagine my tulpa in the corner of my eye for about five minutes now, and it's kind of difficult. Should I actually try and focus, or can I continue doing it at my computer? How long should it take to get him fully imposed? I'm looking for a rough estimation. He's not yet very vocal, but I think this will really help speed that process along.
Oguigi September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 if you can't visualized your tulpa Flawlessly, and hear your tulpa physically. then you don't stand a chance Imposing your tulpa in to reality. It will be Extremely difficult But yet again, how far have you've came in your tulpa development? ________________________________ Update: you posted a thread 'Why isn't my tulpa talking' I have a suspicion that you may be Going Ahead of yourself, if anything you need to narrate to your tulpa, (treat it like a real person, and talk to her/him/it*) and mentally visualize. Tulpaforcing takes time, tulpa needs to grow and learn just like you do, it can take a couple months before your ready to actually make a REAL attempt to Impose your tulpa I know you want to do all the Cool stuff Now don't you? I know that feeling, but it doesn't work that way (unfortunately). you need to be patient and persistent, and success can almost be guaranteed pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Charles September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 From the beginning, imposition was much easier for me than regular visualization, so there shouldn't be a huge difficulty barrier. All that's really needed is for you to know what your tulpa looks like, believe they are sentient and (ideally) for them to be able to move to some extent. Early on, it's more the concept of someone being there and moving around than actually being able to see them. Gradually, that concept becomes clearer until you begin to naturally add detail to it. Think of it like adding textures to a model, but a little more organic in the way it occurs. This is where I'm at and she becomes clearer every day. Just keep at it whenever it pops into your head throughout the day and you could probably get it down within 2 months.
Leopard September 6, 2012 Author September 6, 2012 As I said, he's not very vocal, but he's sentient. He moves around and such and reacts to things, and I think imposing him will help tremendously.
Charles September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 Then as long as you have a form picked out, go for it. Godspeed, my dear!
Oguigi September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 If you really want it that badly then go for it, You have alot of work ahead of you. And as Charles said Godspeed. for Charles imposing was easier then visualization but it's different for everyone. pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Weird0 September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 if you can't visualized your tulpa Flawlessly, and hear your tulpa physically. then you don't stand a chance Imposing your tulpa in to reality. That must not be the case. I started imposing right after i was pretty much done with visualizing. And even before she was vocal. Though, weeks later, we both could agree that her current form just isn't fitting too well so we could change it. Without really visualizing a new form we moved on with imposing. Over the course of 3 weeks or so she became more and more detailed, allowing her to change her own form to what she wanted. At least i had some influence on the hairstyle and height. But that's pretty much it. The rest was up to her. The results are quite nice. So over the time the early imposition worked out well for us. But yeah it was a hard time sometimes. They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here. At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.
Frosty September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 April and I are basically doing the same thing Weird0 did, practicing imposition before vocality. We're concentrating on getting her vocal and refining her form, but it's easier for me to narrate if I picture her walking/standing just outside of or on the edge of my field of vision, so we're kinda inadvertently doing a sort of precursor to imposition. So far it's been working very well, although I can't say what the long term effects will be. Hopefuly it will have the added bonus of making actual imposition easier when the time comes. Chupi September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 Theory is if you can pull it off, imposing from the start should help with everything else. OTOH, it's easier once you can fully visualize the tulpa in ever detail, especially if the tulpa is far enough along to help you by talking or potentially through "tulpa magic". Leopard September 9, 2012 Author September 9, 2012 I've been working on imposition for a couple of days and I have another question: When will I most likely start to see results?
