I know this is an incredibly unusual topic, but anyone here like Nintendo games? Also, I'm down to answer any Mario-related questions people have.

I've played Pokémon a lot. At least thousands of hours. I'm a big fan of Nuzlockes and I like playing challenge hacks. As for Mario, while I think some of the speedrunning content surrounding the games it interesting, I haven't played it that much. I've always been more of a Sonic head (it's because I hate myself).

we like tons of Nintendo games

 

the whole Smash Bros series, all kirby games up to the DS era, all Pokemon games (except Sword/Shield), most Zelda games (especially the 2D ones AND BOTW), all main Mario Party's (except 9 and 10), and of course all sorts of random stuff we played over the decades like... uh, Super Princess Peach, Superstar Saga, Paper Mario TTYD, and we have watched TONS of Mario Maker, like hundreds of hours lol, and played a lesser amount

 

and we know about pretty much everything else, like Pikmin and Animal Crossing, even if we haven't played them

Speedrunning the 3D Mario games is awesome in my opinion. My personal two I like to speedrun are Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey, unfortunately I'm not very good at Sunshine ;-;
I haven't played a ton of Sonic but a friend of mine showed me Sonic Mania and I found it to be fantastic, I might try the Genesis era Sonic games at some point Idk
I've never gotten around to getting into Pokémon which is a shame because I hear how fun it is, I should start with the earlier games to get a better grasp on them

I've heard about the Kirby games, I need to play them (Forgotten Land looks awesome)
Zelda is fantastic, the Link's Awakening Remake was a blast to play through! I need to play more of the Zelda games.
Mario Party Superstars is an awesome return to classic Mario Party, however I hope they add DLC to the game to give it new life like how they are with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Super Princess Peach was an interesting experience to say the least, I haven't 100% completed it yet, but I might give it another go sometime.

basically we're just nintendo fans so it's impossible to name every random game we ever played and enjoyed, SPPeach was just some random game we forgot about until a streamer played it recently lol

 

Kirby Super Star Ultra is a staple of gaming and super worth checking out if you never have!

We like Xenoblade Chronicles, as that series has the best mainstream plural representation out there, and plenty other diversity, racial, queer, physical disabilities, and mental illness… it’s a super great super diverse series that when combined with its progenitors, Gears and Saga, makes one of the deepest lore-having fictional IPs of all time, and we love some deep lore

Lucilyn and I are super excited to get to play Splatoon for the first time in a couple weeks. We missed the boat on the first game and were busy with other things during the events of Splatoon 2, and then it was years before they announced Splatoon 3, but we plan to play for 1-2 weeks straight when it comes out

The Single-Player Campaign looks promising, I just have to check it out for myself.
