Phi September 16, 2012 September 16, 2012 Do it as much as possible, but make sure you aren't just saying the tulpa's name at the end of a sentence. Make sure you're actually talking to them, not just talking aloud while occasionally throwing in their name.

But I'd say the best thing you can do for your tulpa in the long run, is to treat it as though it's sentient from the very beginning. Think, and feel as though your tulpa is already sentient NOW. Because it's honestly possible that he/she is. Also, another general tip: do not follow the guides on here blindly. Creating a tulpa is a very abstract art, there is no "right" way to do it, necessarily. Do what feels right. Do what you THINK would be beneficial. Also, some of the earlier guides created (FAQ_Man's for example) are extremely outdated. Another reason not to follow the guides blindly is because those guides can fill your head with things that are untrue. It will make you feel as though it's not possible for you to be making progress this fast, or that certain things aren't possible. Go into this thinking that anything is possible, and that there is no limit to how fast your tulpa can develop. Some people have had fully vocal tulpae in just a few days. You just have to believe. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Well I'm one to believe that you can change form, even after imposition, regardless of how long it's been. But if that were the case, you still may have to be careful about not making your tulpa with some really childish personality, because you can't exactly change that. I believe tulpa mature, but there are certain traits that would probably tend to linger around for their entire life. You want to make sure that you really want to add those before you add them. Shin is not a beast. The aesthetics don't matter. I don't see Shin as being unattractive at all. I think he is very handsome in fact. 'Demon' is synonymous with 'beast'.
