Lukenstein3D October 19, 2012 October 19, 2012 Can I play video games? I actually haven't played any video games since I started this whole thing. Are violent video games detrimental to young tulpa development? Any response would be appreciated, thanks :) PROGRESS: I've visited my tulpa in our wonderland many times, we've done a lot of personality, he sends me images, I see him moving around and reacting to me, talks sometimes, etc. It's been about a week, we're making good progress. ”Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford
fennecfoxx October 19, 2012 October 19, 2012 It's perfectly fine, don't worry. :) Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Lukenstein3D October 19, 2012 Author October 19, 2012 Alright, thanks :) Will narrate while we play! Rev (my tulpa) really digs , by Health, so I figured he'd like it if we played Max Payne 3, and I was thinking that, as my wonderland is a bit bland right now, we could possibly use something like the paint-launching mechanics learned from playing as a means to flesh the place out/explore :D ”Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford
glitchthe3rd October 19, 2012 October 19, 2012 I played Skyrim in front of Elise, and all it did was make her want to learn how to shoot guns. o_O "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report

Frosty October 19, 2012 October 19, 2012 A 'young' tulpa is not young in the sense we usually think of when we say the word 'young.' They are already aware of concepts like violence, sex and drugs; or as aware of them as you are anyway. So no, it won't matter. QB2 October 19, 2012 October 19, 2012 Some tulpas really love video games. And then there's screen imposition, which can let them go inside a game and experience it. Tulpas + video games is often a great mix. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Guest Fillyfooler October 20, 2012 October 20, 2012 I told Holly the storyline to Portal 1 & 2 during narration. When she learned to communicate she said that she wanted me to play Portal 1 & 2 so she could watch. Now a days her voice sounds like GLaDOS and Chell's name is Chell. So video games are completely harmless to tuplae. Or at least in my case.
fennecfoxx October 20, 2012 October 20, 2012 Now a days her voice sounds like GLaDOS Ha, wow. My mindvoice has actually ended up temporarily sounding like GLaDOS on various occasions after playing a lot of Portal/Portal 2. Actually, my mindvoice is easily influenced; immersing myself in anything tends to cause it to randomly (and often frequently) switch between regular mindvoice and the voice of one or more of the main characters for awhile afterwards.
