Josac January 18, 2013 January 18, 2013 I've been trying to create a tulpa for give or take 2 months now but I have a really packed schedual so I don't have time to sit down and tulpaforce so instead I just invision my tulpa on the go, I'll impose her over diffrent places through out my day and all the other stuff, exept, not for long pieriods of time. I doubt I've been doing this for atleast 30 minutes a day, and so far the only thing that I've noticed is that it's easier to invision my tulpa. Am I just waisting my time on this method? Or will it work but take a lot longer?
waffles January 18, 2013 January 18, 2013 Visualisation is all very well, but you presumably want a sentient tulpa. For that, things such as narration are more important. I'd say that you're wasting your time if all you're doing is visualisation, since, to my knowledge, that doesn't build sentience all that much. I would recommend that you narrate on the go instead of visualise. The above assumes that your tulpa isn't sentient. If I'm mistaken then disregard it.
Couguhl January 19, 2013 January 19, 2013 ^ I agree. Communication is much more important than visualization, in my opinion, but that doesn't mean you can't do both. Tulpa: Sierra Forcing since July 2012 Couguhl’s Progress Report
QB2 January 19, 2013 January 19, 2013 Everything helps. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Chupi January 19, 2013 January 19, 2013 Yes, narration is important, but it's something you can do with a little practice, regardless of schedule. Whatever you're doing, make comments to her about it, explain what you're doing, etc. Even if all you can do at times is the occasional comment to her, it's better than nothing. Edit: Just to clarify, it's fine to narrate in your head when out-loud isn't practical. I personally find out-loud to give more effect, but that might be just me and not apply to you. CrazyMadFun January 20, 2013 January 20, 2013 I narrate mentally to my tulpa almost constantly, and have done very little visualization, almost no solid time forcing, and on day 5 I had an entire conversation, so switch to narration, and you should be good.
QB2 January 21, 2013 January 21, 2013 Not really. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Guest Anonymous January 22, 2013 January 22, 2013 I've been trying to create a tulpa for give or take 2 months now but I have a really packed schedule so I don't have time to sit down and tulpaforce Why, might I ask? so instead I just envision my tulpa on the go, I'll impose her over different places through out my day and all the other stuff, except, not for long periods of time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can simply just spend time doing something that is fine with breaks that can easily be resumed, like playing a game of catch or something, since any attention is good attention? I doubt I've been doing this for at least 30 minutes a day, and so far the only thing that I've noticed is that it's easier to envision my tulpa. Just to be clear, are you imposing her onto the real world? Or are you simply visualizing her in your mind? There is a big difference. Also, you have a block of 30 minutes, and you would spend that imposition? Am I just wasting my time on this method? Or will it work but take a lot longer? I dunno, how do I shot web? Is your tulpa sentient or not?
Josac January 22, 2013 Author January 22, 2013 Why, might I ask? Well, I'm a musician, I'm still currently in school, and usually when I'm done I have to work on writing songs. Just to be clear, are you imposing her onto the real world? Or are you simply visualizing her in your mind? Mostly Imposing. Is your tulpa sentient or not? Well yes, but she can't communicate with me, the occasional movment hear and their but that's it so far.
