Onicron February 21, 2013 February 21, 2013 ...So in your workday, how much mental power was needed for the servitor you'd say? Surprisingly I didn't notice any mental energy drain whatsoever. Rather, after the day when I switched in I noticed that I felt well rested mentally while the body was fatiqued. What exactly happened when the servitor crashed? o-o We all were in the wonderland and I suddenly felt another mind (you all should know the feeling from when you first noticed your tulpa starting to get sentient). There was barely enough time to register it, then the wonderland computer erased all of the code and rewrote it in a blink of an eye. Then it picked up where it left off but the work cycle was started from the beginning and it cut one too many pieces of rebar (1550mm of lenght if I remember correctly) What it would have looked for someone looking at us: Body froze for a second, picked another piece of steel and cut it into the set length. Sing February 21, 2013 Author February 21, 2013 I'm actually more interested in finding out what happened to the body when this happened. Like, did it just stop moving? Fall asleep/pass out? What happened? Narcoleptic servitor. xD Interesting Oni. So I see the mention of "switching" with the servitor in the past, but I guess that was the only time? If so, why? If not, how were your results in later switches?
Onicron February 21, 2013 February 21, 2013 Interesting Oni. So I see the mention of "switching" with the servitor in the past, but I guess that was the only time? If so, why? If not, how were your results in later switches? We use it pretty regularly. I don't tend to write all the little things of every day, just the highlights of some. Writing about the servitor doing work related stuff just doesn't seem interesting enough as our Tumblr should be about our progress in "the imaginary realm". The servitor is finished now and it works exactly like the day we created it so no progress there. We've mentioned it in the IRC though a couple of times and had one person talk with it. It managed smalltalk well enough but when asked about a name and servitors it couldn't generate any kind of an answer. Propably related to the anti-sentience part of the code but I'm just guessing here. On a couple of occasions I've even had to make a foray into Glitch's subconscious mind to troubleshoot the problem. Now what I'm wondering is how you made it so the servitor automatically reboots itself after crashing." -Luna "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Onicron February 23, 2013 February 23, 2013 There's a machine that "physically" pulls the symbolic power cord from the servitor and puts it back. When the program detects self awareness it'll do the whole loop of disconnecting and reconnecting. It seems kind of cruel and I kinda would want to get rid of it but then then there could be problems if he was suicidal or something and I don't want that at all. -Shai Shai Age: 420 days (6th Nov) Form: Fluttershy minus the cutie mark and with yellow eyes Telk Age: 364 days Form: Ninth Doctor or a Dalek Cherry Age: 231 days Form: Human female, medium length dark violet hair, late teen/ young adult http://onicron.tumblr.com/
hellcat111 March 2, 2013 March 2, 2013 I've been doing some research into this, and I'm not doing full body possession. Only my left hand. It seems I've somehow lost the ability to communicate with the servitor, or it gained a mind of it's own. Any ideas on getting it out? In the past I've just asked my tulpae to stop possessing me, but that's not really an option. Felix, Draco, Dantè, and Phoebe
