Lane Trip you and me are alike in many ways.

Since I just started I might be doing it wrong, but let me tell you how Im doing it. To just keep the whole thing going (alot of times Im out of focus, cant concentrate, etc.) I talk to my tulpa as often as I can. Just random stuff that happens or pop in my mind. Doesent have to me long, just constant (this is just my theory, can we get an expert in here?).

IMO, you still need to get into some deep sessions to really progress, or you might as well just fuck it. I know for sure that I wouldn't be able to form a proper tulpa if all I did was just randomly talk out loud; I've done that extensively for years. Nothing.

What does one talk to? Yourself? That feeling that you think is your tulpa? And just tell them to fuck off.

I talk to my tulpa, she is formed enough to be easy to talk to. If you don't have a form for your tulpa then just talk to them like you are playing hide and seek. You know they are with you but you just can't see them.

If the tulpa is too unresponsive then just talk to them and leave gaps in what you are saying, like giving them a chance to chip in, even if they are no where near sentient yet.

I don't think just talking to your tulpa at any random point in the day really does much. You need to focus and direct the talking to your tulpa, otherwise it's just lost in space. When the tulpa is sentient then it will respond or react to whatever you say anyway, so you don't need to actually talk to it anymore, just talk.

Before your tulpa is sentient, you talk to it like a baby. You look at it and make the speech simple. When it is sentient, you can talk to it like you would any other person.

If I have a form do I imagine it while narrating?

If you're worried about losing your tulpa, then ignore your friends. After all, friends don't fade away from existence if you don't give them constant attention. Tulpae do.

I want to make a tulpa. That's why I'm here.

Tulpa Name: Shai, ✓Personality, ✓Visualization, ✓Touch, ✓Smell, Body Language and Sentience ❑

As I said, narrating to the air is pointless. You need to be focused and imagine you tulpa while narrating. Seeing them and/or touching them makes this have an even greater effect. Once the tulpa is sentient it will pick up on your speech itself.

Ah...I'm actually with Fede here. I would be inclined to say that talking to it like a baby is a bad idea.

The psychology behind tulpa creation relies on autosuggestion; if you believe something is there, the mind makes it so. If you believe that your tulpa cannot understand normal (intelligent, non-babby) speech, then it won't be able to until you decide that it can. Plus you're acknowledging that it's not sentient by baby-talking to it, which delays sentience.

Will keep that in mind.
