Spice March 3, 2013 March 3, 2013 My question is: should I be worried? I've been forcing for an hour to two hours every day with few exceptions, and almost constant narration for two months now. However I've only heard Spice speak twice. Is it just a case of slowpoke, or can I do something to help me hear her,or for her to speak up? I've tried encouraging her normally, and still do, but I just get frustrated when I see other people make progress.. I suppose it's mind over matter though and worrying doesn't help, but I'd like your help too ^_^ Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
Sands March 3, 2013 March 3, 2013 Simple answer, no. Hard to say when Roswell actually got vocal, but my quesstimate is the 1.5 or 2 month mark. Before that I pretty much got nothing, so you're already doing better than us, huh! If symbolism works for you, that might, well, work in this case too. Some people use some kind of microphone and speakers kinda deal if their tupper sounds too quiet. My story is pretty funny, I think. Again, never got a clear word from Roswell, but he was very active otherwise and there were other forms of communication. However, actual words were desired as that's easier and everything. Now, we did do possession at that point, we tried it way before he was vocal, but the funny thing was, he couldn't even make a sound when possessing. I figured that might be interesting to try, but all that came out were some breathy wheezes out of that mouth of ours. Weird, but it gave me the idea. Vocal cords. Keep them completely open and you're breathing, close them and nothing comes out, but open them just the right way and sounds come. So I figured he couldn't control those, so the best thing I thought I could do was to force him some of his own and show how they are moved. After a little practice session, I told him to speak, say anything, just try it out. I wasn't actually expecting anything, but I think that was the part where I actually, truly believed he should be able to do it. Like my brain thought no vocal cords = no speech, vocal cords = speech! Now he actually got them and I knew it for a fact, so of course the earlier difficulties with speech came from a lack of them. Obviously. And, I actually listened. I was willing to listen. So he spoke. Slowly, maybe, but it was speech. Not like I completely bought it all as it was so sudden and happened after this, but my way isn't to simply ignore things when I don't believe them. So I learned to believe in his words. Sure, the tupper has to do some work, but it mostly is about the host learning to listen. To know they can do it and allow themselves to hear it without stopping it. Often I did the mistake of not letting him answer before going on with my talking even though he could have answered, even without words. You both just have to know they can do it, I guess. And that was my sort of off-topic story for today. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
waffles March 3, 2013 March 3, 2013 You don't need to worry. There are plenty of people slower than you. Honestly, I think the best thing to do is forget about progress. Or, forget about progress when it doesn't seem to be coming. You should relax and enjoy the process itself, rather than stay focused on the outcome. Everyone's experiences are different, and comparing yourself to others isn't going to help. What might help us getting off this site. Forget about everyone else and just focus in yourself and your tulpa. Your tulpa's already spoken twice, which means that you're making good progress on the whole. Try to remember the circumstances around these incidents if you want to; what were you doing? What were you talking about? How were you feeling before, and after? You can try to reconstruct these conditions. 'Listening more' is a tricky one, because there are random thoughts floating around your head, though it's usually obvious that they aren't your tulpa. I would actually advise not trying to listen too hard, and just let your tulpa speak when they're ready. Wouldn't want to do all the work, now would we? In terms of actual encouragement, there's not too much that can help. If your tulpa has just spoken, then praise for that might help, depending on your tulpa, but there isn't going to be much when all you're doing is trying to prod them to speak.
Lacquer March 3, 2013 March 3, 2013 First, no one should ever truly worry about anything with undeveloped tulpas. You should do other things to communicate with your tulpa, like what these two threads mention: http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Sentience-Sentience-confirming-anti-puppeting-guide http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Visualization-My-tulpa-made-visualization-a-game Also think of other ways you can communicate with your tulpa. Some have tried posession before the tulpa has been vocal, but I don't know their resluts. If you do this, your tulpa may be able to write things down to talk to you, or do gestures, or sign letter with your hand(s) or something. Think of everything you can to communicate nonverbally. Speaking of, check out this guide. I don't know how well it works, but the comments seem mostly positive: http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Pruria-talks-talking-to-tulpae-Deaf-hosts Good luck!

The sentience confirming guide was quite fun, but rather strange. xD I can get thoughts and emotions and we're working on headaches now Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. They spoke twice WHOO! What you do now won't feel this difficult 2 years from now when they're talking indepenantly and imposing hugs 24/7 Heres something as important as narration, work on adjusting things to work easier for you, if you hath to cut something or move it than do that. Whatever makes it easier until you learn to love what you have now. So the rest is only icing on the cake My Aurora
