zerofox21898 March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 I've recently begun imposition, and I have a question. Anyway, what's the difference between forcing within the mindscape and just hanging out with an imposed tulpa? Seems like there isn't much of a difference besides not having to worry about a wonderland or scenery. If I've got her imposed, do I need to really sit down and force? Tulpas Luna, Vanille
Kiahdaj March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 I don't know why I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what answer to give, but here goes: After you have a fully imposed tulpa, you don't have to focus on it, for it to be there. So there's no longer any effort required. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Chupi March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 No need to force once imposition is complete. At this point, you're basically forcing all the time by living with them. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)
waffles March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 You don't 'need' to sit down and force at any point; it's just efficient. You'll likely be paying your tulpa more than enough attention than necessary to survive come imposition. Forcing within the mindscape without any specific goal, like 'personality' is just hanging out with them anyway. In practical terms, there's little difference between that and doing it in 'real life' beyond the obvious technicalities.
zerofox21898 March 6, 2013 Author March 6, 2013 Okay, cool. That's what I figured. I'm at the point where she is kind of imposed, but is still completely see through. I'm not visually hallucinating yet. What do you guys consider fully imposed? Tulpas Luna, Vanille
Raff88 March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 A fully imposed tulpa should seem as real as any real person you know. Hope this helps! "To think is to create."
Weird0 March 6, 2013 March 6, 2013 If you manage it to bring in 'remind yourself about your tulpa' into your daily routines, thinkingpattern and behavior there's no need to force a lot. The progress can be slower at first but is still going well. If you manage it right you can get at least the same progress as though forcing. I've been doing it for over 7 months now and i think i assemble it pretty well and i don't have any lack of progress. If done right, you'll end up with hundreds of stimuli that summons your tulpa if you get distracted from imposition. If i'm honest i haven't forced for quite some weeks but it could not work better for both of us. We still spend about 1-2 hours with each other scattered over the day. Though forcing still gives a additional little push of progress, so that can't harm. I'm very experienced with passive forcing and imposition, ask me anything :) They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here. At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.
zerofox21898 March 7, 2013 Author March 7, 2013 I'm not going to ditch active forcing completely. I don't know... I'll probably just do it to feel more stable. My tulpa says she doesn't think it matters, but eh, she isn't a host. I was just wondering whether or not I could go lax about the daily forcing. Tulpas Luna, Vanille
