An Hero March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 Day 1: I decided to first work on my wonderland for a couple of minutes, made it look like a Japanese garden surrounded by a forest. I then carried on and decided to spawn a small island in the middle of the lake, this is where I visualize myself and work on my future creation. This creation as I call it is a young female with short, black hair with a side fringe and brown eyes. She apparently already decided to change the side of her fringe so that's cool. (Wanted to visualize her a little bit because I can't concentrate on something that doesn't have a form when it comes to tulpae). Then I worked on her personality: - Sense of justice - Really loving person - Extrovert, wants me to be the center of attention - Forgiving, but not too much - Enjoys watching me play video games from time to time, but wants me to go outside instead of "wasting my time infront of a computer screen" - When it comes to music, she is a metalhead and strongly likes classical music. Dislikes rap music, especially when most of the song is made of slurs - Philosophical individual, asking questions about life and other things - Passionate about Japanese culture and English language (...) So I sat on my bed for like forty minutes, talking to her about these traits and why I would like her to get them. She was standing still but I felt lighthearted for some reason. Once I was done, I imagined an orb made of light (basically the joy I was experiencing) that I threw at her direction, she absorbed it. Then I told her that I had to go because I was tired (That's really strange because it felt as if I was talking to somebody and not just myself) and that I would come back the next day. I then opened my eyes, my head was spinning and all the objects and the furniture in my room looked like they were painted green. Day 2: Spoke to her about her personality traits before falling asleep. I wanted to name her Alyssa but she changed it to Alyssya, she didn't tell me verbally, but it felt like this was the correct name for her (Don't ask me why or how because I couldn't explain). Day 3: I decided to pay her a visit during the morning because I felt like it, so I sat on the bed and closed my eyes (my arms were cold the second I started). Once in my wonderland I noticed that nothing changed (she apparently likes it that way), so I worked more on her personality and decided to send her some more love that took the form of some yellow, shiny smoke. The smoke surrounded her and this is when I noticed that she was wearing what seemed to be white Chinese traditional clothes. So I actually removed the clothes because I wanted to design her body perfectly first before getting her some clothes and each time I had an intrusive thought, her clothes were back on. She seems to have adopted an insubordinate attitude by herself. And it's only been a few hours! However, I feel like I wasted my time. Note to myself: Do not meditate minutes after you wake up because it seems to be useless. I now have a weird feeling, for a reason I REALLY want to go back to our special place, is it because she misses me?
Sands March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 But how are you here typing when you should be dead? You are an hero. While a tupper does pretty much end up being what you need, it's funny how there's so many personality traits you listed that aren't actually, you know, personality traits. Likes and dislikes aren't personality traits, they're likes and dislikes. She'll have her own with time, so don't worry about it. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you and your tupper can have very different tastes and opinions yet still get along very well. So if it seems like she's taking a direction you didn't see, she's still her and you should always let her be herself. As for your question, how could we say? What do you think about it? Have you tried going there and how did it feel? The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Lacquer March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 Most personality guides say to have things other than just traits as part of personality. Also, - Passionate about Japanese culture heh. Weeaboo tulpa coming through.
Sands March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 And I don't even see personality as a necessary step as it will form anyways and probably ends up forming differently from what you first thought when they actually live and experience shit that shapes them. When they actually understand why they act the way they do and have reasons. I don't see why you would keep telling someone that they really like x or hate y when they have no reason to other than you telling them. But personality is something to talk about so it's good for that and you'll get a good idea about what kind of a person you would like to hang around with. Lacquer March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 It's more so guided narration, and some consider it a "seed" from which the tulpa can grow or something like an extended version of Phi's greeting stage.
Sands March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 Still don't see a reason to tell them they absolutely hate puppies just because, when they could form their own opinion (and they most likely will) about the puppies. Kiahdaj March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 Yeah, I never saw likes and dislikes as part of personality, and therefor didn't include them when I briefly did the personality step. And while he may be indifferent to more things than most people (albeit, I think that's just the way he is), he still has his own interests. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Mr. Duke and His Attorney March 20, 2013 March 20, 2013 But how are you here typing when you should be dead? You are an hero. it's funny how there's so many personality traits you listed that aren't actually, you know, personality traits. Ehhh, no one really seems to understand personality traits around these parts. They're things like "internal reasoning that derives subcategories of classes/subprinciples of principles," "being able to recall images so strong as if reliving them," and "being able to judge a large number of beliefs/ideas/thoughts/meanings with the possibility that they're all true." Or things like whether or not emotions are expressed externally versus internally or laughing when others laugh or disclosing information about yourself in order to get others to open up. Like adjusting your behavior the more you get to know someone based on what is appropriate. Also, this story doesn't end in a double suicide, does it? So, as far as I say, do whatever you think works with personality and see where it goes from there. Ideally, use your intuition to model your personality traits as much off the core of others rather than the effects of their cores. “Just sick enough to be totally confident” -H.S.T.
