Loveandkrieg March 26, 2013 March 26, 2013 First of all: Hi, new user here, I didn't see an "introductions" board so this is my first statement. Second, onto my question... Me and my tulpa have been working on the process of tulpa creation and formation for a while now, and I've noticed something peculiar. I have an intensively difficult time doing narration at my workplace. This is annoying for sure, but surviveable and understandable. More worrying, my tulpa is often 'absent' for lack of a better word, while I'm at my work - there's no sense of presence or response, while she's normally by contrast wonderfully communicative (though not verbally). So my question here is if this is 'normal', if any other hosts out there work regular boring full-time jobs and how it affects the tulpa and the forcing/narration process?
Guest Anonymous March 26, 2013 March 26, 2013 When you work, or even go to school, and you are there to focus on the task at hand, I not on personal things. Just write a note to yourself to narrate when you have a minute or two to yourself.
Loveandkrieg March 26, 2013 Author March 26, 2013 What's the job? For me, Phone support wageslave, so it's not like I'm stealing employer money by trying to narrate on company time: If nobody calls in, then I could write sanskrit poetry if I want. It's more that the environment makes it difficult, really, than that I don't have time for it. How to solve that problem, I'm not sure
KenzieK March 26, 2013 March 26, 2013 Yes, I go to school and work at a fast food restaurant. When your mind is fully focused on something, it probably won't pick up on the presance of your tulpa, which is normal. At both school and work the same thing happens to me. It just takes practice to make your brain recognize the presance of your tulpa at all times. Try telling them to get your attention while your distracted or make the extra effort to talk to them a little or at least recognize that they're there. You'll get it down eventually to where you'll always feel them there Name-Yuki Sex-Female Form1-Arctic wolf, big blue eyes Form2-Long white hair, blue eyes, pale skin, white wolf ears/tail, light blue jacket Personality-Compassionate, calm, sarcastic, playful, protective, introverted Stage-Sentient, vocal, working on possession
NekoiNemo March 26, 2013 March 26, 2013 Same here - Yami's just getting bored because she's not really into computers and i'm a programmer. It's hard for her to just seat motionless beside monitor for 8 hours straight so she often just... Go to standby mode. I think it's normal. 現実に抗え!
Allison the Tulpa March 28, 2013 March 28, 2013 I go to school, and I try to write little hidden notes here and there. Such as: 'T's written in my locker. But I find myself able to remember she's there after a test, and I always apologize about forgetting. But yeap, we get along during school preetty weeeell. ~From someone who had imaginary friends in 5th grade And that's how I ended up in this padded cell PR
Spice March 30, 2013 March 30, 2013 Spice sleeps during school time for me, or at least from what I understand it's sleep,. maybe that's why it feels 'absent' Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
