The_Bad_Wing May 5, 2013 May 5, 2013 Okay guys, I just found out that I had ASMR and thought about how it would affect my tulpa. Would it? (Don't know what ASMR is? GOOGLE IT!)
Kiahdaj May 5, 2013 May 5, 2013 Looks to me like it's just a tingling sensation. Why would that affect a tulpa? "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Spice May 5, 2013 May 5, 2013 Might make imposition feelings a bit more real I have asmr and nothing weird has happened yet Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
Lacquer May 5, 2013 May 5, 2013 I thought that ASMR was something that everyone had, but different things trigger it? Learn something new every day. Awayway, I don't think it'll affect you a lick.
Spice May 5, 2013 May 5, 2013 That's partly correct The difference being 'almost' Some people don't feel it at all some people feel it all the time. Still it really wouldn't do anything more than give you tingles Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
Chupi May 6, 2013 May 6, 2013 I only very rarely get ASMR. None of the things that are supposed to induce it do it for me. It comes randomly but extremely rarely, but it does feel really pleasant as claimed. The times I've had it strongest, it was induced by a tulpa. So it could potentially be used as an early communication method, but you'd have to ask them to repeat it a few times so you can filter out any random ones. I see no way it could really affect a tulpa negatively. I don't remember it ever happening more than this time, but I was listening to the binaural imaginary barbershop video, or whatever it's called, and after a while (I thought it was just because I found it so cool), I began to feel extremely giddy, and couldn't for the life of me stop laughing. It did feel pretty pleasant, as well. Does that sound right? I must just not be understanding what exactly ASMR is. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. Chupi May 7, 2013 May 7, 2013 As I understand it, it's a pleasant tingling in the top-to-back of the head and the spine. If giddy and laughing counts, I've had that a couple times with hypnosis. I got relatively deep and suddenly out of nowhere uncontrollable giggles. As for the binaural virtual barber shop, I've listened to it a couple times and didn't get any effect apart from marveling at how nearly real it sounded. Mr. Duke and His Attorney May 7, 2013 May 7, 2013 Wait, this sounds like a whole, giant, steaming pile of BS. Especially because of the origins and the Know Your Meme stuff. Anyways, in my experience, this is just emotion tulpaforcing. Or is it not? The reason I think its BS is because of how easily and often I can do it. Though, it is dependent on my tulpa. It has been my earliest and most constant communication method. One time, it broke off completely and I could not "induce" it, no matter how hard I tried or what I did. Hence the tulpa-dependency. I mean, shit, these are just pleasure shudders. That isn't anything new, is it? Or different, or special? Or something you can "have"? I'm pretty sure this is the entire basis for the "yandere" trope/cliche/stereotype. “Just sick enough to be totally confident” -H.S.T. "Same thing; a soul's made of stories, not actions." MrKap August 30, 2013 August 30, 2013 There is no BS. It is a true sensation which goes right through the scalp.
