blueflame789 May 13, 2013 May 13, 2013 Okay, quick question. If I write something to my tulpa on a piece of paper, would they be able to read it? I know they wouldnt be able to write anything back, but they could reply directly to my mind right? I was just thinking because at school its kinda hard for me to focus on my tulpa, but maybe I could write "notes" to it and narrate to it that way?
Kiahdaj May 13, 2013 May 13, 2013 Yeah, sure, I don't see any reason why not. I don't think it would be super effective, but better than nothing. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Lacquer May 13, 2013 May 13, 2013 I'm not entirely sure how you're going about this, but I have a couple ideas on how it works. One, what you're doing is writing down things that you will say to your tulpa later. Two, you're equating writing the things down with sending the message to your tulpa. (I'm not sure how efective this would be, seeing as you can't focus on your tulpa anyway, and sending the messages through writing and sending messages versus mindvoice should not be all that fundamentally different) Three, you write the notes, and what you write is appearing in your wonderland in some form or another where your tulpa can read it. It all seems frivolous to me to do this. Passive narration can be done quite simply. All you have to do is think something in the same way you would say something to another human, and make sure to direct that thought at your tulpa.
blueflame789 May 13, 2013 Author May 13, 2013 I was thinking more along the lines of number two. I'm probably just making things more complicated than they need to be :p
Jabre May 13, 2013 May 13, 2013 No, actually, I do this all the time. And they can write back through hand possession.
tania May 14, 2013 May 14, 2013 I dont know why you just dont think the thoughts to your Tulpa if you want to communicate with them. That's far quicker and takes less focus then having to write something down (it takes nearly all ones focus to be writing something). How are you going to explain the notes you've written when the teacher catches you not paying attention but rather writing notes to your Tulpa? (that's a recipe for disaster). **ring, ring .. phone picks up.. "this is *** teacher's here. Can you come down to the school as there is something we need to discuss. *** has an imaginary friend he writes notes to which distracts him from his school work. Maybe he should be taken to see a professional about this?" Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition

I thought about trying this once Saffron became sentient. Seems like it would be cool ^.^
Heaventhief May 21, 2013 May 21, 2013 I did this the other day. Rain could read it and it made my thoughts a lot more organized even if it took longer to express them.
