Shui August 10, 2013 August 10, 2013 Make sure you talk to it and ask it why it's doing what it's doing. This is good advice. The psychologist Jung used to have a lot of ... well, I'm not sure whether to call them hallucinations or tulpas. He never let them go away until they had told him why they were there, doing what they were doing. Spartanelete, you should definitely find out what's going on with Dread, if not to save him, at least to keep it from happening again. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"

I asked him why he's like the way he is. His answer "Because I want to watch you all suffer and burn. It's the way I am and I love it! "
Kaz with a K August 11, 2013 August 11, 2013 I believe he's tried, but everytime my friend attempts to dissipate Gary, it doesn't work. I'm mot sure what the problem is there. You said your friend had a few Tulpa? What do the others do while Gary abuses him? Tulpa: Adryan Form: Anthro wolf-ish Stage: *sighs loudly* Age: Looks 17, is actually 1 1/2 “Human beings can always be relied on to assert, with vigor, their god-given right to be stupid” -Dean Koontz “In the end, I worry that my arrogance shall destroy us all” -Brandon Sanderson

" Just because he says that doesn't mean there isn't a deeper reason behind it. You probably didn't question him enough but oh well. Too late now. As for Josie - I agree with most of the other advice given in this thread, but I'd like to add that maybe it's just who his tulpa is. That is, the bullying might be a form of expression, and it wouldn't be bullying if he didn't take it as such (I don't know how bad it is so I'm not one to judge on that). To give an example, Ea can be pretty harsh to me sometimes, but I always considered it cute, never took it as an offense, and eventually some of the harshness dropped and now she's really nice to me. Really, if there's something that's encouraging the bullying it's the fact that your friend is considering it bullying + worrying about it. I'm pretty sure that if he just stopped giving a shit and started acting like the bullying wasn't even happening, eventually Gary would realize how pointless it is and stop it altogether.
Shui August 12, 2013 August 12, 2013 Come to think of it, my tulpa was a bit like that for me. I wouldn't say bullying so much as snarky. We talked about it though, and we both agreed to change our behavior toward the other. After all, if we're going to be stuck in the same skull with each other for years to come, we should be able to get along. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
