Ashmo October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 None of it is hard really, I've been imposing things for years. Way before I ever started working on Bud, which is one of the reasons I started imposition as soon as I started forcing. Imposing random things only strengthens your imposition skills. Ashmo October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 I'm not saying it's that easy for everyone. Maybe try more visualizing exercises, a part from forcing exercises for visualization.
Shui October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 Once you have the ability, it comes easily. But getting the ability is hard. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"

Ashmo October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 Good luck, and don't just impose random stuff, make them fun! Like bunny ears on people or fire just chillin' on water. When I used to get frustrated with teachers I used to impose them all wearing strap-ons with giant, hilarious dildos.

Ashmo October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 All through high school. I've been practicing imposition since I was a youngster. Even before I knew what it was. I would just imagine something until it became "real" to me and play around with it.
Allison the Tulpa October 13, 2013 Author Share October 13, 2013 That's quite interesting, Ashmolean. Please elaborate more! And that's how I ended up in this padded cell PR
Ashmo October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 When I was little, I had an imaginary friend (no, they aren't my tulpa now) and I could see her like she was any other person. I've played with other kids with imaginary friends, but I honestly thought they didn't even have them because they couldn't see them as easily as I saw Chris. When I "grew out" of my friend, I still imposed things. I like to write stories, but before I write anything, I envision it happen, like how most writers do, I suppose. The difference is I make it as real as possible. I won't write anything unless I can make it real as I'm thinking about it. Eventually it got to the point where I can pretty much impose anything with in just a few moments time of really trying to concentrate on it. I do it with imposed flame all the time. I'm a self diagnosed pyromaniac, I'm not arson level or anything like that, but I'm a stress burner. When I was younger I would catch myself starting fires or setting fire to things without memory of actually doing it. So I started imposing flame to help curb my impulses. It helps a LOT.
