penultimate.forme October 21, 2013 October 21, 2013 INTERVIEW SURVEY CREATED! http://pastebin.com/6e1gTfnQ Help me out! <3 More information about the zine is included as well. I am creating a publication to help document tulpa as a contemporary phenomena. I need content from the community, and want to use it with permission. I will not be profiting from this, the zine will be available online for free as a pdf. I am also printing physical copies which are free for the price of shipping. I’m asking for interviews, the template of which I will post, and/or permission to use content off your blogs: progress or anything tulpa related. Each interview will be accompanied by an illustration of the tulpa/whatever the interviewee requests, so effectively interviewees get free art as an added bonus! Alternatively you can send in any content to me at penultimate.forme@gmail.com. my Skype address is penultimate.forme if you prefer that. The *tentative* themes are progress+creation, ethics, parapsychology/metaphysics, experiments, tulpa in pop culture/news, and new developments. I’ll consider all submissions and save all of them for future issues. If anyone who is part of the community could help spread the word, I would appreciate it. Thanks~ I will be crediting all borrowed content, more details on the way.
left blank October 21, 2013 October 21, 2013 I'm all for contributing. I already have my own illustrations (and I'm currently working on more), a wealth of documentation, and a penchant for writing. Indeed, I think my story would be right up your alley. If you check this again and I haven't gotten to you in a couple days, please feel free to message me privately on here for more information.
Yori October 21, 2013 October 21, 2013 I wouldn't have a problem with it as long as it actually used info here rather than those dreadful articles... My lip hurts.
penultimate.forme October 21, 2013 Author October 21, 2013 It's still in the planning stages, but I plan to use self generated content at a minimum, and the majority will be direct quotes from members of the community. I'll be contacting and responding individually to people over the next couple weeks, and will post a generic interview format here soon as well. So far the response has been awesome, and I'm looking forward to talking to everyone! I figure I should provide a little info about me. I don't personally have a tulpa, nor do I plan to. I find the phenomena fascinating from a third person view, but having a tulpa just isn't practical for me at the moment. There seems to be little to no documentation of tulpa outside the community, which consists mostly of blogs, forum posts, etc. (Primary/direct source: first hand experiences, blogs). In a way, I seek to legitimize this phenomena further by providing a pseudo-academic lens (secondary source). So my audience is both the online community, but will also remain accessible for those who are not 'in' the in-crowd. After Tanya Luhrmann's article in the ny Times, it seems especially imminent for tulpa to become a widely accepted phenomena.
Guest Anonymous October 21, 2013 October 21, 2013 This sounds great. Curious, do you have any previous experience doing zines (or something similar)? As a heads up, you may come across an 'ae' used to pluralize the word tulpa. This originated from the first guides and caught on during the beginning six or so months of this site. The site itself is slowly transitioning back to tulpas and the alternative plural's usage has decreased significantly since the beginning.

waffles October 22, 2013 October 22, 2013 Your blog layout could do with being a bit less schizophrenic, I think.
penultimate.forme October 22, 2013 Author October 22, 2013 Your blog layout could do with being a bit less schizophrenic, I think. Haha, that's true. The blog started as something different but I will subsequently be posting mostly tulpa related info (news articles, etc) and other stuff more related to the zine. This is the first zine that I have collaborated with other people to create, other publications I've made have been short and small with less focus.
