Tulpa talk

Recommended Posts

How can i tell if im talking to the begging stages of my tulpa or just talking to myself. Should i just picture the tulpa and then speak to it?

Technically you are talking to yourself, you tulpa is a part of you. To answer your question though, picturing it and speaking to it works.

If you'd like more information on this, I suggest lurking around some more thread and using the search option. This whole place has a wealth of knowledge and you might not even need to post question threads if you look deep enough.

You can't tell.

You must simply act as though you are, whether you truly are or not.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

You're thinking about it the wrong way. You don't start working on your tulpa and then at some point they come into existence. Tulpas are formed more like habits, they start off fully formed but your mind need the connects that make them up to be strengthened over time. Once the connections are strong enough your tulpa will begin to act of their own accord, but they exist in your mind from the very instant you think them up.

You're talking to your tulpa if you intend to talk to it. If you intend not to speak to your tulpa, they won't hear you.

To put it simply. :P

One Tulpa:

Name: Yuki

Physical appearance: Similar to Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist

Date of Creation: 16th September, 2013

That. That right there, is probably one of the best ways to describe the process that I've ever seen.

What Bacn said most certainly is one way to look at it--one that I think I can say that I personally subscribe to.

It also coincides with the metaphysical viewpoint I had when I started this.
