DragonFriend December 22, 2013 Author December 22, 2013 Hm... interesting. well, thank you for posting all your thoughts and experiences about this. I try to be open minded on these subjects. For instance I would never just say you are wrong for you have no evidence. Again, thanks Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. ShyMagi January 6, 2014 January 6, 2014 This is definitely a question to consider and I understand why you'd feel self-conscious at first into thinking that it might be silly to ask since "tulpae are in our minds" but I think it is very much a valid inquiry. Yesterday I posted a story of something that happened to me when I was just a child. Looking back, it might've just been a coincidence, however ... if you really think about the universe and life in general... I think there is one thing we can all unanimously agree about it: It's weeirrddd... lol Once you think you have it all figured out and within the safe boundaries of rules and limitation.. -- BOOM! You're hit with something remarkable that either blows your mind, or expands it. So I while I don't really have a proper "yes" or "no" answer for you, I'm posting this as a 'head's up' to you about keeping your spirit up! The universe is infinite and so are possibilities (I know, it sounds airy-fairy and even flimsy... but I mean this wholeheartedly)! :) I've seen a lot of strange things in this world... Things that defy logic as I know it (and no, I don't do any drugs of any sorts -- hell, I don't even smoke cigarettes. Or drink). I prefer to be sober and rational... in fact, I'd be a no-nonsense atheist were it not for the strange things I've witnessed in this lifetime. Your sentiments almost make me feel confident enough to post my retrospective progress report of bizarreness.
ShyMagi January 6, 2014 January 6, 2014 Preach it, sister! Your sentiments almost make me feel confident enough to post my retrospective progress report of bizarreness. Oh, I wish you would! I'm so deeply fascinated by life experiences that are bizarre or "out there." But I do understand if it's too intimate/personal for you to share. However, if what's holding you back from being fully confident is the discomfort of being judged or criticized, I'm right behind you in full support! DragonFriend January 6, 2014 Author January 6, 2014 I agree. Many fascinating and wonderful things happen in this world that cannot be explained by science, or would be what most would consider "illogical". Just because we know very little about these things or they are not proven does not mean they do not exist or are impossible. xzanthoss January 6, 2014 January 6, 2014 I don’t know if this is considered related but I have recently been learning reiki and crystals. The first time I channelled a crystal I defiantly felt something different with my tulpa as if she was interacting with it. Anyone know if chakra and energy flows effect tulpas?
ShyMagi January 7, 2014 January 7, 2014 Hey Xzanthoss, thank you for sharing your experience! That sounds pretty awesome and I do not doubt that you and your tulpa felt something from the reiki/crystals. Considering the tulpas are connected to your subconscious (or soul, if you're open to that) then that sort've thing is definitely going to resonate with them, I'd imagine. Personally, I've never really "clicked" with that sort've energy work, myself. So I'd imagine my tulpa would look like a dunce, just standing there, completely unfazed. Then again, I've underestimated him before so I could be wrong on that, as well. ShyMagi January 11, 2014 January 11, 2014 Aside from people saying 'I thought I saw someone with you' more times than acceptable, no. This pretty much sums up the story I was referring to, above. Yeah. I was able to get some girl from my childhood (who hated me) to gape in awe at what she thought she had seen was my imaginary panther companion (even though I had never told anyone about such things due to being introverted). But who knows? I'm open to other possibilities, even though I have my doubts due to personal experience... one never really knows. I certainly never even imagined Tulpas could ever exist -- even in the scientific method! I'm just grateful they do. For example, there are several things that one may 'hypothesis' about science, but that doesn't mean it is likely or true. For example, I don't mean to reduce the topic to something a little watered down from science, (and to the many who do see it as a valid science, I apologize if that comes off as offensive) but if you're interested in checking things out like "string theory," or "Quantum mechanics," you can certainly experiment with your Tulpa into taking such "leaps of faith." Again, I'd have my doubts in being successful in such experiments, however, since I'm only starting out. So my mind is still a little skeptical due to lack of personal experience. But as someone who is certainly into the metaphysics, etc.. I'll definitely be open to unbias (or possibly very biased) experiments with my Tulpa. Lol who knows? ::laughs:: I'm still at the very beginning of the Tulpamancy, however. Mainly because I'm doing so much research that I want my mind to be fully wrapped around this concept before "getting my hands dirty." I'm still very nervous. And excited. But mainly psyched!
