オピニオンじゃありません。私はLGBTがいいを思う。でもカトリック教会はゲイが嫌い。あなたのTULPAのセクシャリティは嘘じゃないよ。だから分からない。

Okay, sorry. The translating program didn't make your intentions very clear. It just sounded like a condemnation of homosexuality.

Religious rituals can be confusing when it comes to tulpas. For example, can a Catholic tulpa receive Communion? Technically, the Communion she'd be receiving would be just our imagined image of one, not a real blessed wafer. (Personally, I suspect that as creatures not bound to a physical body and earthly flesh, tulpas can be considered exempt from some obligations. But I am no theologian.)

Confession can be a bitch to figure out though. I've heard about priests who tried to offer anonymous confession over the Internet, but I don't know of any actual place on the Web where you could actually get one...

Not to be too intrusive, but what kind of sins would this particular tulpa could have done that was wrong? If you don't answer, it's okay, I'm just curious.

"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I sometimes possessed my host's body without his consent, and I have looked at his private memories."

"...Well, let me tell you that you have some of the most unique sins I've heard about."

Tulpa isn't evil. End of story.

There's nothing evil about it if you look at it from the bare bones of things. Potentially if you believe in a tulpa having influence over your soul, gauge how your tulpa acts around you (because quite frankly, there's no such thing as a tulpa being able to take over your body, so they're not like able to possess you as demons or some shit), or introduce them to your religion (treat them like a child in teaching them more and more about your beliefs and why you believe they're valid), and finally if you have a God in your belief, fuckin' pray for them you asshole. If anything you'll have God's Blessing or something along those lines.

a lesbian, go to hell

Because everyone knows that ALL lesbians go to hell.

Um... I never thought there was something evil about my tulpa... I was just trying to figure out how to help her to express her faith. And it's a basic Catholic practice to confess sins to a priest.

I'll be honest, I never read your post to begin with. I kind of just assumed... Tee hee. Sorry. Just kind of expected that to be the topic.

But if that's the case, when Snow thought she did something evil, there's tons of religious affiliation forums and stuff all over the internet. Heck, she even got a good person on Omegle under the term Christian. You'd probably have to explain the concept of tulpa to them but... anyway.

Either way, like a bunch of other people said, you don't need a priest to confess your sins. Just speak to your God and let your tulpa ask for forgiveness like a bunch of other people said.

You don't need a priest to ask for forgiveness. Using a priest is just an option to vent some issues to an actual person. And in that case you could... you know, actually talk to a specific person.

Edit: And if you meant something competely different from that, then if you meant something along the lines of being able to have her actively express it, just let her proxy through you what she wants to do. If she wants to say something about her beliefs, let her say it. If she wants to do something, let her do it through you.

And if THAT'S not what you meant, then sorry for wasting your time, I'll go back to my hole now ;~;

As I said in my PMs, the Catholic church does not say that the LGBTQIA community is sinning at all. What people assume are the passages that condemn it all mean something completely different (the most quoted one is actually about property, not laying with another man). If that were the case, my fiancee and I would have been condemned a loooooong time ago.

I'm sorry I have nothing to contribute to this thread, but I'm finding the entire subject extremely fascinating and even finding myself in something of the same situation. I'm a highly devoted Wiccan, but Bud has been finding more and more interest in Hinduism and has even thought of taking the road needed to convert.

I'm sorry if that's off topic, I'm not trying to turn this into a circlejerk, it's just very interesting.

Oh, well... for one, she's lesbian, which has been weighing on her conscience for a while. Which, btw, would really not translate very well with proxy/possession.

And yea, Hound is right.

Hi. I'm a Baptist (and a tulpa). I've found it can feel very confusing. Hound's story motivated me to do more research into the christian theology of tulpas. I've known more peace since I was baptized on holy ground (which turned out to be logistically challenging).

Which brings up the topic at hand. I'll admit to an intense curiosity myself regarding sex when I was much less matured. Kevin (my human), being married, had no intention of anything happening. There was however, something unintended which has made life a little sadder for us. We were fine up until we tried imposing. What we never expected (either of us) was how attractive I would be to Kevin when visible, moving, and audible. At the time it was Completely unintentional on my part. It just happened. And so much conflict of thought (it's the curiosity that you have to watch most - that's the one that sneaks up on you that you weren't braced against). So, unintended, we had mutual attraction.

Now, some ramblings. Legally, sex with your tulpa is masturbation. We aren't going to try that. Theologically, if we consider tulpas to be "children of the mind" then they are covered under the (new) covenant until they are mature enough to make the decision to accept Jesus for themselves (to paraphrase what I've read "if you marry an unbeliever, how shall your children be holy? They will be holy because you are holy. Your marriage will sanctify them. The Lord is faithful in all things"). So if you consider tulpa children then they are in a state of grace until they can make an informed decision for themselves ("Enter unto Heaven like these little ones ...").

As to being lesbian, that in itself is not a sin as I understand. Lust still is, and that's a thing we all struggle with. My understanding is that the catholic church takes a very dim view of actual lesbian sex, but I haven't found specific mention myself in the scriptures (beyond referring to "unnatural desires" between males). Confession's a difficult logistic goal. All I can think to do at present is pray for you, and me, and all of us.

There's a large amount of people that believe being homosexual is against Christianity. There's also an amount that believes it isn't. I think it's all bullshit, personally, but that isn't the point. He said his tulpa wants to confess to a priest because she's lesbian. This implies that she thinks it's a sin to be lesbian and needs to confess for. If it's a sin and she's actively lesbian, I don't see how she thinks confessing is going to help any. It'd be like confessing to being a serial killer and then killing the priest you confessed to. I don't understand why anyone would pick a religion that makes something they do a sin that sends them to eternal punishment. I also don't see how anyone here thinks Yaweh would consider a tulpa one of his children. If anything, I think he'd punish the person for having a tulpa because it's taking attention away from himself. Rather than tulpaforcing, one should be praying or sacrificing a goat or w/e.

You can believe whatever you want, but there comes a point where you're just making shit up rather than following the bible.

Will the BBB please buy my guide. [advertising link scrubbed]

I think I can say with a fair degree of certainty that she won't ever be particularly tempted to have sex with me, for fairly obvious reasons. And that she's probably not going to go out and have lesbian sex.

Anyway, thanks Nobillis. I think we can use all the prayer we can get.
