Also this is such a huge thread because NesterBones posts at a ridiculous volume and trolls keep the thread nice and full of posts. Why not try and measure the amount of constructive posts made by Guests vs trolling posts before making such a major change? Just because you have one or two trolls does not mean everyone is a troll, and I've seen far worse posters which have bothered to register...

Guest, you broke quite a few rules in regards to being respectful, flamebaiting, etc. If you check the Rule board you'd know since the warning system cannot be applied to you, this results in a ban. I couldn't care less if the OP said he welcomed trolling, insults, etc. since it's still against the rules. I'd rather not have to disable guest posting in this board, but if the trolling keeps up, I will have to; this is something I noted the very first day I enabled guest posting. This isn't 4chan; if you want to keep your anonymity you're going to have to follow the rules just like everyone else. sorryman54, you should have been following the rules too, instead of flaming the guest back; you weren't helping. EDIT: actually, banning isn't going to help since the troll was using TOR -- seems DisgruntledGuest is using it too; not sure who else around here uses it. Too tired to make a decision right now; probably going to have to remove the ability for guests to post in this board or something if I can't get around that TOR anonymizer... NesterBones July 8, 2012 Author July 8, 2012 what is this? i dont even. this is why i hate not being able to get online. im out for a few hours and the thread gets all but nuked. @Pleeb - if i may make a suggestion, if possible, i think the best thing to do would be to allow users to moderate their own thread in the progress report section. that way good guests keep their privileges and trolls can be dealt with by the thread owners. if something like that cant be done, then someone needs to figure out how to do it. @guests - anonymity is great and all but trolls always use that to their advantage and abuse it like facebooks like button. just because i said some trolling is good because it can yield helpful reactions and such doesnt mean i said troll away. at this point, youre not even bothering us anymore with what you say, just getting mildly annoying for trolling so much. @those whove defended us - thank you for your support, but dont get yourselves wrapped up in this. trolls are trolls. they mean nothing and hey know what theyre doing. the more you show how pissed theyre making you or how much chaos theyre creating, the more theyll troll. i have personally never been too fond of 4chan simply because of trolls. like i said anon users totally and completely rape the advantages of being anon in every orifice twice over. its great to see non-troll guests with legit questions or helpful comments and suggestions but trolls need to be dealt with. ive been told roleplayers and attention whores bring down the entire topic of tulpas and make it a laughing stock. i think its trolls like this who do that on a superior level. if someone lies about their tulpa thats one thing, but what would a serious person think if he came on the site and saw posts like this where trolls have gone rampant with their babbling? Sorryman54 July 8, 2012 July 8, 2012 Sorry aabout raging at the troll. I know i was just feeding him, but my god, i hate trolls, especially ones that make fun of people. Its wrong. You need to be hit for bullying and hurt other peoples feelings, not matter what they are. Seriously. I understand i'm part of the problem, but the whole situation could be fixed by removing post abilities from guests, or like Nester said, allow users to moderate their own forums, like delete posts or whatever.

You said it's based on Jarvis from the Iron Man movies, right? is that still the case, or did you change it? jarvis, thats his name. couldnt remember. yeah, he's changed since then. that was 1.0 and 2.0. vox 3.0 looks like a core from portal with a rotating propulsion belt. looks kinda like a propeller only the fan blades glow on the bottom. i really need to draw this up.
