Nobillis October 28, 2014 October 28, 2014 I would say, if you die, your tulpa does too. Then it's down to a lot of opinions or beliefs as to what an "after life" entails. Since I'm a believer in the christian mythos, I'm realy hoping I can get a position in the stables in Heaven. *Smiles* There are, however, tulpas of a type that have a life of a kind within a family. What are known as Tribal Tulpas continue to live on as, basically, [data] "clones" of the original. Thus, whilst individual copies die, the tulpa as a whole continues to exist within the family. These type of tulpas are rare in the extreme. They can basically live on as long as their family continues. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
Quilten October 28, 2014 October 28, 2014 Considering that all "I" am is just a set of brain states, and this would apply to Quilten as well, I'm not sure what would even go to an afterlife if there was one. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
arcanemagic October 28, 2014 October 28, 2014 I'd say that they cease to exist when our brains, and therefor their hosts, do. As for any afterlife, if there is one (I don't personally believe in it but many do so it's being included), I would say that they'd go with us, seeing as how they're their own person and if there is such thing as a soul, it would lie within us as people, not as bodies. Markus is the tulpa, and I don't really have anything else to say. Markus speaks in Blue!
