3rd eye and tulpas

If you want to live in a make-believe world where everything is what you think it is without investigation or proof, go ahead. But any idea - or field - that refuses to hear the opposing side is doomed to ignorance. Discussing metaphysics =/= believing everything you hear without skepticism. It simply means discussing metaphysics.

Anyway, besides the tin foil hats comment, everything here was pretty much constructive discussion, despite being somewhat off topic nonetheless.

 

Personally, I don't think anything involving the third eye chakra would allow you to "see others' tulpas", because tulpas (as far as I know and believe) aren't separate entities, but thoughts. And in order to read someone's thoughts, you have to.. well, read their thoughts. And I don't think having an open third eye allows you to read peoples' minds, I think it does a multitude of other things. Again, psychics/mediums/"attuned" people technically shouldn't be able to sense a tulpa because a tulpa isn't an existing being, it's a part of you. Now if they do exist separately in some metaphysical way, or if someone perfected the skill to the extent described in ancient texts on the subject, I could see that being plausible. But not as far as I know.

Well, I was just making a joke, and if that has offended you, then I apologise. I wasn't saying it's impossible, just very unlikely. For most of us, it would be impossible, but that is just the case for us. It may be very possible, but I do not have the knowledge of how.

If I wanted to argue with people about science I would go to one of the other forums. I have been there in the past and had my chops busted. I am here to share ideas. Tell me you think it might be difficult. Tell me that it didn't work for you. But don't tell me that I am a Commie or that it is impossible. Let us share ideas in a wholesome manner.
