Okay guys,

I'm new to this forum and have never made a tulpa previously but i am seriously considering anything to unlock my phone.

long story short set a password on my iPhone, dropped it and broke the screen, recall trying to enter the passcode but not being able to press the past letter. have to wait for a new screen. end up forgetting the passcode. 6 months later after a very weak attempt at unlocking it im here.

can anyone point me to a guide where this is possible? see i remember slight details and im working on that atm.

this has happened in the past where i was drinking and set a numbers passcode. after like 2 months and a bit of $$ motivation.. 4400 attempts later i got it unlocked. but i feel like giving up because it is a word one and i can recall it was probally 3 letters long with a capital letter? idk so thats why i was hoping maybe a tulpa could help recall it for me?

comments appreciated. :)

I'm... not sure if you're serious or not with this (or if I should answer this but, but I will). I mean I've read they can, there are people who claim their tulpa helps them with it, but to be honest, making a Tulpa just to unlock a phone (or as a personal reminder) is both exaggerated and even cruel (and insulting to many here too).

First consider that Tulpae require a lot of work (even a year or more) to fully develop so you would need a lot of time to actually get what you actually need, not an efficient way for that don't you think?

Also even if you get there, what would you do with the tulpa later? its not a disposable good that you can use once and be done with it, imagine how would you feel to be created to remember a 3 letter password and then be forgotten for eternity (and even making a tulpa disappear would take you a long time too).

Anyway, a more efficient way to solve your problem if you're that desperate is to make a factory reset on your phone, you can either google it like any other would do or pm me the model and I can assist you there. There are also a lot of websites and places that specialize in that stuff.

Yeah, I'd go with a factory reset or maybe jailbreak. It could take months or years before you get to the point with a tulpa where they can do it.

i am being serious with my question. i do realize it fake but what i mean is, I've read that you need to have your Tulpa have a Purpose like a "goal" and then a date that they die. Having a tulpa's goal be to help you recall forgotten memories be its life goal? and have an expiry date that is maybe a few years?

Just no. Lurk more.

Even if this was serious, our memories aren't perfect. We forget things and then patch those up with made up stories, every time we recall something it's probably a little different. Others can manipulate our memories and make us remember things that never happened so vividly that we won't believe they never happened. If someone else searches for stuff and gets here somehow with a similar purpose in mind, making a tupper to remember something most likely won't work - or they might make you "remember" something that actually didn't happen, even if they're not doing it on purpose. Our memories just aren't very reliable and tulpas won't fix that.

I think the main purpose of a Tulpa is having a lifetime companion (as in forever) regardless of their main goal, I don't know where did you read the expiry date thing but it sounds creepy to me. I mean, you even referred to it as "death", you're actually killing a sentient being (Now his here is my opinion, since the morals here are often in debate).

You can read the guides here and see most of them warn you that unless you are actually sure of having a Tulpa for the rest of your life you shouldn't try it in the first place.

And as I said, the dying is still relative since I've read that sometimes it's even harder to make a Tulpa disappear than to create one, some are not even able to.

EDIT: What Sands said is also true, if you want to remember stuff, write a diary, take photos from time to time or get a device where you can store what you want to remember, like your phone when you fix it (remember to always back up digital data just in case though). Just keep your password written somewhere safe and easy to remember so this doesn't happen again.

I don't know where you got your information but it's wrong and I suggest you read up on the FAQ about what a tulpa actually is.

We don't work that way, my memory can be just as shitty as my hosts and we deffinitly dont die once a task is completed. I don't know where you heard that but it's wrong.

Factory reset your phone and look up what a tulpa actually is.

What Sands said. Each time we remember something, we're creating it over again in our minds. So when you remember something that happened, you may instead be remembering remembering remembering what happened, instead of what actually happened.

The memories preserved by our brains in their purest forms are those that we don't think about at all. I'm certainly not to the point where Fenchurch has photographic memory or anything (if such a thing is really possible) but I have had moments of perfect recall while deep in meditation. The memories I see are always those relatively untouched ones that I haven't thought about in 15 or 20 years.

It is very easy to create false memories as well. I've done it with hypnosis, but I've also had it happen to me without hypnosis. And there's a famous experiment where subjects were told a story about being lost in a mall as a child, along with other real stories from their childhood gathered from relatives. A good number of the subjects reported being able to remember being lost in the mall -- even though it had never actually happened.

I would say the password is probably still there in your brain, but creating a tulpa isn't the most efficient or reliable way to get it. Yes, we modify memories when we remember them, but there have been plenty of times I've forgotten something like that and later was able to remember it correctly. As has been said in this thread, tulpas don't have perfect memories either, though they can sometimes dig up memories you have a hard time finding or don't even know are there. Some tulpas have amazing mental abilities, but it varies and depends on your brain and the tulpa him/herself.

Taking up meditation might be a better idea. It isn't instant but it will improve your memory recall as well as overall mental functioning. If you're in a hurry to remember that code, you might try a hypnotist.

I've read that you need to have your Tulpa have a Purpose like a "goal" and then a date that they die. Having a tulpa's goal be to help you recall forgotten memories be its life goal? and have an expiry date that is maybe a few years?

I'm not sure where you got this, but it's incorrect at least the way we make tulpas. To us they're lifelong companions. Their purpose is whatever they choose, similar to your own purpose, though most will do what they can to help their creator. Their "expiry date" is the day you die, if all goes well; though there are instances of tulpas fading or willingly leaving.
