I don't know about that dude. There are a lot of mainstream churches who say that god will talk to you, or that the holy spirit will talk through you to your congregation. And they go on to say that if these things don't happen then something is wrong with your faith.

The mainstream churches I know of don't mean God or Holy Spirit talking to you as in you will actually hear their voice but more along the lines of fuzzy feelings or inspiration.

Guest is right, though. We've designed a selfish system based on revenge. We only truly care about ourselves, and when someone does us harm, we want to do that person harm as well.

Is it not just to do harm to those that have done harm?

our prison system is luxury compared to e.g. Dumbassmerica, centered primarily on rehabilitation, our punishments are usually mild, education is completely free (in fact, you get money as a student so you can afford an appartment), and so many other good things.

What is so great about your prison system; because in it I see a society whose meekness made it so uncomfortable to the idea of actually punishing criminals that they have traded the ideals of justice and fairness when it comes to dealing with wrongdoers for comfort.

Am I wrong about this?

It depends what you find more important: a world with less suffering and more positive experiences (what morality aims for), or a world where justice is upheld. In my opinion, justice itself is only an imperfect means to an end to achieve morality, but for some people justice is a goal in itself, however you can't have both perfect Justice and perfect Morality (as harm reduction).

But I don't speak Denmweigan.

English education is compulsory, so we'd all understand you. You'd be able to make a living here just fine.

Also, it's called Danish. [insert jokes]
