TurboSimmie May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 That's actually a really good idea! I have noticed that most dreams seem to come at the very end up the sleep period. But this relates to one of my great struggles with my host; getting him to stick to a consistent sleep schedule! Ugh, it drives me crazy, he'll sleep 3 hours one night and 12 the next or go to bed at wildly different times. It's really frustrating, possibly the biggest frustration I have with him right now. If I can finally get him on a consistent schedule we could try this! I was also thinking about making a video or slideshow of our forms alternating to make it more likely we'd both show up in a dream together, but I have no idea if that'll actually work. PsychoticDoc May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 A- Eh, I doubt having a video/slideshow would help too much, but having a consistent reminder that's pretty subconscious would for sure. Jewelry that he wears for you, or even a phone background/desktop wallpaper with your stuff on it might help. Since we draw a lot, its easy to draw each other on a regular basis, or even integrate forms into other stuff we do like games or projects. Consistency is key no matter what. For our sleep, we shoot to be in bed "by 11" which means we wont be in until 12 usually, if not later. But, since we know that we never hit that 11am time anyway, the "real" bedtime would be that 12 or whatever. Amelia- Oct. 7, 2012 Mitsuki- Oct. 31, 2014
TurboSimmie May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 Ideally that's the kind of sleep schedule I'd want too. I don't want to make Phil stop being who he is, but I really think it would make him happier and healthier if he did it! He has thought in the past about getting a piece of jewelry that reminds himself of me, but he isn't known for wearing jewelry and might lead to questions being asked. Not that he's self-conscious about it but just that it would get tedious to either keep explaining me to people or making up some lie about why he's wearing it. Phil is slowly getting better at drawing but he still works best when he has a reference image to go off of. Sometimes we like to visualize a magic mirror in the wonderland; we can look into it and see each other reflected back out at us; whenever I make a movement Phil in the mirror makes the same movement. It's actually helpful for switching! But yeah, if we could appear together in a dream, fully bodily from either of our perspectives, that would be such a cool thing. PsychoticDoc May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 A- If jewelry isn't an option, just try a cheap watch instead, or maybe get a sharpie and mark the top of a shoe. It's all symbolism anyway, whatever works, works. I know since my host likes to draw ponies and stuff, me being one most of the time helps him think 3 dimensionally with them, especially with the legs and stuff. TurboSimmie May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 Yeah, sometimes I think the fact that my form is 100% human makes things tougher. But my red hair and green eyes are fairly distinctive features and they help make me distinctive. In the beginning I had a distinctive hairstyle and outfit too, but I like to change them both up because I'm not a cartoon character and don't need a "signature outfit". But honestly, if I were able to appear in a dream with Phil, I wouldn't mind if some of my details were wrong as long as I could be there. PsychoticDoc May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 A- In the worst case, you can just try to manipulate a dream thing to be "You" Amelia- Oct. 7, 2012 Mitsuki- Oct. 31, 2014
TurboSimmie May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 That's such a good idea! I can't believe I haven't thought of that. I could try to possess a dream character! Last night Phil had a dream where he was riding in the back of a car; the driver got out but the car kept going on it's own as if driven by AI. I could have tried to become the car if I had been thinking about it during the dream! Maybe I'll try something like that the next opportunity I have. Making sure I'm active during the dream would have to come first though. How do you make sure you're active during dreams? PsychoticDoc May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 A- For us, our sleeping/awareness is functionally just for show. We do sleep, but we don't need it. That being said, my sleep schedule is normally the opposite of theirs, or thereabouts. They're up from like 7am-1am, I'm up from 6pm to 8am. So, when my host sleeps, and I'm up, I'll just wait until I notice he is dreaming then try and poke and prod to see if I can do anything. It's not 100% successful, but it's not like I don't have till the end of time to figure it out. In dreams, I've been GPS voices and stuff, so it's not out of the question to do something like that. Tsuki voiced a character once, but I think she might've fallen asleep at the time and kinda sorta dreamed herself into his dream. Possibly a fluke, possibly repeatable, who knows. TurboSimmie May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 That interesting that you have a sleep schedule opposite of your host! With me I wake when Phil does and go to sleep when he does. There have been times where I've stayed asleep a little while after he's woken up, or don't bother waking if he just has to get up to use the bathroom or something. But I can't think if a time where I've been awake without him. I like to picture myself cuddling with him in our wonderland bed when we're sleeping. But I guess there's nothing stopping me from being active and moving around in-wonderland! You've given us a lot of ideas for experiments to try. I do like the idea of trying to voice dream characters too. Tulpa Wife & Mother! 💚 💍 11.28.21 👶 4.7.23 👗 Simmie's AI Dress-Up! 📷 Chloe and Simmie's Photographic Adventures!
PsychoticDoc May 7, 2022 May 7, 2022 A- We don't really use our wonderland outside of the house we 'live' in in there. Normally we just hang out in the bed together in a big pile, but my host is a bit of a sucker so he will try to avoid being around me if I'm sleeping or whatever to be nice. Usually Tsuki will be his day companion since she's a precious little cutie, and it helps him to be able to squish her in a hug or something while he does whatever he does. Whenever I take a turn for the day, usually it's just comfy cuddles all day long while he does his thing. Since he spends most of his day reading and stuff while at work, it gives him plenty of time to be with whoever is awake. Helps he is a very immersive reader, so it's less like reading and more like a movie for us all. Keeps things interesting. I usually just skim the details whenever I'm awake so I can be caught up or whatever. Amelia- Oct. 7, 2012 Mitsuki- Oct. 31, 2014
