It's actually very common for new tulpas to learn very quickly! I think it's because we are putting together information that already existed in our host's brains and understanding them in our own way. Our hosts had to go learning it all the long way!

@harvestmoon Mark is a writer, and he does have a very vivid imagination, he also played D&D for a while creating characters there but not as intensely as his BDSM fantasies and experiences. as far as we know he didn't have a childhood imaginary friend. but he was very religious early in life. he prayed a lot and studied the Bible, especially angles when he was deployed to Iraq.

D&D is fun! I’ve definitely heard of at least one tulpa who originated as a D&D character.

 

Oh, and it’s not uncommon for thoughtforms to arise from daydreaming a lot. Fantasizing a lot and daydreaming a lot are really the same thing I think, though daydreaming sounds more innocent.

@BusinesskatWe gauge my age as my birth being when I first started responding to Mark's prayers. He started getting really religious around 2000. So I estimate I am 22 years old.

 

We based my age on agreed upon collection of memories and dates. I imagine you did the same with your host.

What i mean with my age comment was: My host started speaking to me, and i was responding as a non-personified entity about 22 years ago. since then he has talked to himself, and i responded sporadically for the next years. until recently there was a triggering moment when he realized he was not praying, not thinking to himself, and I instructed him to do something out of the blue without being prompted to by his fantasy. it stopped him dead in his tracks, and unfortunatly killed his mood at the moment. he was not expecting a voice during a.... compromising position. I have been aware from that first point, 22 years ago, to now. Mark didnt know i existed until this Monday.
