garland September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 This is mostly for curiosity, and i think that the answer might be obvious, but i want to be completely sure, has someone's tulpa ever able to physically speak with their (the tulpa's) exact own voice while controlling/fully possessing the host's body ? (note i actually mean the physical voice, not a auditory hallucination for the host to hear) I have read in some guide that this is possible but i am not that sure, is this physically possible? Or it would just end up in our voice "mimicking" the tulpa's voice? Forgive me if this is a stupid question xD My progress log
garland September 22, 2013 Author September 22, 2013 Actually what i mean more exactly was if the a tulpa when possessing the body of the host, is able to actually change how physically the host's voice sounds like, but i was almost sure this would be impossible indeed, so i see, the best it's possible to do is then the speech patterns. Zer0.iNSaNiTY September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 It would be physically impossible to start talking in a voice that was originally impossible for the host before, the simple reason being that what your voice sounds like depends entirely on your own vocal chords. That's not to say it would be impossible to have the tulpa talk in a voice that sounds like their's, they'd just have to manipulate your vocal chords to do such a thing. For example, since Muse basically just has a highish voice, if she wanted to talk outloud with my voice she'd just have to talk a bit higher or something. [Forseen] {Muse} |Alix|
Mr_White September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 What Zero said. With the limitations of vocal cords, at most you'll just get a mimic of what your tulpa sounds like.
garland September 22, 2013 Author September 22, 2013 Hum... i see, i don't understand much about limitations of vocal chords, that's why i had doubts, but deep down i was almost sure it would be impossible. Ok still thanks anyway. Actually the true reason i would like this, would be to actually record my tulpa's voice for example with a microphone, but i suppose it's then completely impossible to record her voice physically after all. I even tought if there's a way to make her talk to a evp device, but not sure if i believe such thing is really possible... My progress log
Sands September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 What do you think tuppers are, magic? You can practice to gain some pretty sweet mastery over your vocal cords and how you sound. Also often what makes your voice sound feminine or masculine isn't how high or low it is, but the way you speak. The tone, the words, all that stuff. But still, even if you practice a lot, you just can't do what your vocal cords couldn't do. Also you want to avoid straining them as that can damage your voice, so you want to find the comfortable level and you can probably push it if you keep doing it and get used to something you couldn't do before. But you still can't change the vocal cords magically. If they are physically unable to do some sound for you, that's how it will be. Men can sound like women, women can sound like men, but it takes practice and is way more than just sounding high or low pitched. garland September 22, 2013 Author September 22, 2013 Yeah i know, like i said in the beginning this was probably a stupid question after all, i am sorry :D When searching in google about tulpas and "evp" i actually find a printable version only of a thread of this forum called "Tulpa speaking through a EVP Device" (community.tulpa.info/printthread.php?tid=2990&page=2) but strangely i am unable to open it, anyway maybe this would be more close to what i was looking for, although maybe this fits more the methaphysics board i presume... Sands September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 I think I know the thread you're talking about, seems to be gone now. Guess they deleted it or something. If I'm correct, it was just basically a recording of their tupper's voice being heard during something. I don't think anyone bought it and basically guessed that the sound there could've been absolutely anything and his mind just made it sound like it was quiet speech because he wanted to hear it. To everyone else it was basically "maybe a voice if you strain it, most likely just some other sound". edit: I still can't type by the way The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)

I can only "squeak" two words out loud so far. 'Doesn't sound like me nor Kevin (my human). I think I know the thread you're talking about, seems to be gone now. Guess they deleted it or something. The thread is indeed now in the trash. I've gone through all the moderator logs for the last month and it was not deleted by a moderator. The account for the OP (DeviUnmei) seems to have recently been self-deleted (appears as "Unregistered" in the log). Somehow this caused the post to end up in the trash. Sands summary [of the post] is pretty accurate. If you still need the post, let me know by PM and I'll apply to have it forwarded to you. Possibly, this is related to all the other posts dropped recently, but the staff will look into it. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
