Guest Anonymous June 15, 2012 June 15, 2012 http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Imaginary-Friends-and-Tulpae Most kids don't focus on an imaginairy friend like most people on this forum focus on a tulpa. Mine was some kid I could only see from a distance. I didn't have a personality. And he was actually some kid I saw that I called an imaginary friend, so I could interact with him because he was real. But I don't think so. The would lack the focus and make tons of mistakes that would make it a servitor, unless they were raised reading the guides.

Bluesleeve June 15, 2012 June 15, 2012 Everyone has his own understanding of what an Imaginary Friend and a Tulpa is. I believe an Imaginary Companion (IC) has to surpass a certain amount of personality development until it resembles what we call a Tulpa. One of the differences between a Tulpa and an IC is, that Tulpas are always created on purpose, yet I don't see this characteristic as determining. It is indeed possible for an IC to gain the same qualities as a Tulpa. Even though it is not possible for a child to develop the same kind of Tulpa as we do (simply because they lack the cognitive abilities and experiences), it is possible for their ICs to have mentor-like capabilities, or be slightly older pesonality-wise. Despite of this, a childhood IC can mature with you and develop a very distinguished character and thus reach the same stage as a Tulpa. Two sides of the same coin. What is a Tulpa? Nevermore July 11, 2012 July 11, 2012 You could create a Tulpa based off of an imaginary friend, but I don't think it would be exactly like what you thought they would be. Deviation and all that.
