bunny-boi-lover April 22, 2015 April 22, 2015 I was stalking the threads and saw where sushi mentioned using a pendulum as a form of early communication that tulpae can use. That got me curious. Can tulpae use Ouija boards or similar methods to communicate? That is assuming the board is purified and nothing else can make use of it. If so, that may be an interesting way of helping others communicate with one's tulpa. I know that tulpae cannot influence physical objects, but in this case the planchette would be moved by the host's body being possessed by the tulpa. After all, tulpae can communicate through ghost writing/typing. I tried searching in the forums but couldn't find anything directly related to it. I personally love Ouija boards, though I understand people's aversion to them, more so because I'm a medium and have had a lot of paranormal experiences. DISCLAIMER: Do NOT take the use of Ouija boards lightly. They are powerful tools that many different types of entities can utilize not just for communication but as gateways to pass over to our world to cause pain and harm to the users and those close to them. LittleTulpa April 22, 2015 April 22, 2015 Why is your tulpa possessing you when they can talk? Why are they possesing you if they CAN'T talk? That might be dangerous for the host, because, well, you can't talk to them and make sure what they want to do.

I have to say to others what he says because I'm the only one who hears him. At this point he can only talk to me directly through mind-voice. And I'm not talking about full possession. I'm referring to just the possession of the hands and arms to move the planchette. Guest amber5885 April 22, 2015 April 22, 2015 The short answer is no because a tulpa canny effect things outside of the host. A pendulum works (usually) because it taps into your subconcious mind. Basically you are subconsciously making it move and the subconcious is thought to be where a tulpa lives. So pendulum yes Ouija board no Besides if your tulpa can posess it can talk. Vocaliity comes before usually everything else and this has been prove time and time again
[Insert_Name_Here] April 22, 2015 April 22, 2015 If your looking through communication with your tulpa by means outside of your brain why not just use a Word document or a notebook an pen/pencil if thy can already posses your body? Seems a little bit easier and practical. But theoretically, I'm going to say yes. Would I ever use it? No, for obvious reasons beyond the whole practicality issue (an this is coming from a guy who puts more stock in science than in metaphysical and paranormal stuff; I seriously don't trust ouiji boards).
sushi April 22, 2015 April 22, 2015 I'm going with Amber on this one. A ouija board requires at least two people to use, but the tulpa is only in the mind of one of them. Either it wouldn't work because there's only input from person, or there would be input from someone who has no business inputting, and the responses would be confused. Having said that, there is, in metaphysics, the concept of an egregore, which is something like a shared tulpa. Since it belongs to the group, contacting it with the a ouija should work -- and seances have. Of course Wikipedia suggests that there's nothing paranormal about it. Seems a little bit easier and practical. I have no problem communicating with my tulpa on my own. Just say hypothetically I have a friend over who wants to talk to my tulpa but wants to do it in a more interesting way than just me saying whatever he says in response. Either it wouldn't work because there's only input from person, or there would be input from someone who has no business inputting, and the responses would be confused. That makes sense, but it leads me to wonder if since the users are addressing the tulpa, wouldn't that automatically make the subconscious of the host more powerful in order to answer, regardless of how many other people are involved? Sort of like as if that person were the medium in a seance. Having said that, there is, in metaphysics, the concept of an egregore, which is something like a shared tulpa. Nope. Edwin is mine. No one else can share him with me. X( "Jesus Pickles!" ~ Edwin reacting to pretty much every jump scare in a horror movie Avatar was made by me using a base. tania April 26, 2015 April 26, 2015 I'm going to say yes, your tulpa may be able to communicate with you through an Ouija board. I'm saying this as the the Ouija board can tap into the subconsciousness and of cause our tulpas are strongly connected to this. It could well be a great way to communicate with your tulpa. I see no issues with you doing this if you know of the dangers of Ouija boards and know how to take care. I cant see how it could harm you or your tulpa either (as long as things don't become dangerous due to attracting anything else). Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition

That essentially backs up the points I made in my last post. I'm sure this is a topic that could be debated either way. For now, my belief is that it is fully possible, though I have no one I could possibly test it with. Chupi April 28, 2015 April 28, 2015 First off, if we're going to look at ouija boards in a paranormal context where other entities are actually influencing them, this belongs in the meta board. But yeah it could potentially be used through possession if for some reason a tulpa is having a lot of trouble making a distinct mindvoice. It wouldn't even need to be nearly as strong possession as is needed for, say, typing. At least if we take the , the movement comes from the people using it, subconsciously. The issue I see is that your tulpa can only affect your movement, and I don't think ouija boards work in 1 player mode. If you can hear a mindvoice from your tulpa, it would be almost infinitely faster to let him communicate with others by talking and you repeating what he says, rather than slowly moving around a board. Or use a simplification of voice-proxying where he sends you the idea/pre-movement thought of speaking and you perform the actual speaking; it's like saying what he thinks at you rather than what you think. Similarly, you could let him write using a pen or type if you're working with him on hand possession. @LittleTulpa It all depends how it's done. Most likely if a tulpa isn't able to communicate clearly yet, they're not going to be doing possession on anything near a level that could pose any danger. Even so, possession has to be amazingly strong before it's anything but trivial to stop it at any point. I've heard of someone's tulpa doing slight twitches through very basic possession before vocality, and they worked out system where the host would ask a question and the tulpa would twitch one way or another for yes or no. @tania Wouldn't there be interference from the other person/people needed to operate it?
