I'm going to do the responssible thing here for once and just stop here. I think I've already stated where I stand in this argument with my massive walls of text. I agree that we aren't getting anywhere.

RaveCrazedDave, your walls of text were truly epic-magnificent in their massiveness. I have been humbled. That goes for Anderson's as big walls of text as well. The debate was impressive in it's walls-of-textness. I enjoyed reading all of it, especially because I was mentioned several times. There is nothing that Melian and I love more than being the object of public mention.

Mistgod, you're becoming the pet of the forum. You're always around, always looking for attention, and sometimes we pet you. And usually that's all alright. But sometimes you knock over a vase or pee in our bed and then we get mad. Then you go around pretending to be ashamed for a while and do it all again. Like a pet cat.

I am okay with this.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I am not supposed to be talking cause we are supposed to be on intermission from the internet Melian Show addiction and stuff. But I have to say that Davie understands, his cat Koshka peed in his bed when she was a kitten and Davie for a while called her Wizzer. *giggle* He got mad but he still loved Wizzer and she still wanted petting and purred and stuff and knocked stuff over. She did learn not to pee in his bed but still poops on the bathroom floor sometimes.

Psychology itself is a "soft science", meaning that most of what's collected in anything related to it doesn't have much objectivity.

V.S. Ramachandran tells a story about showing neurologists a talking goat. The neurologists are skeptical, of course, but when it's proven that the goat can talk, they say "Well, that's only one goat. When you have a sample size of a few thousand, we'll be impressed."
