kovyxen November 8, 2015 November 8, 2015 So i was just wondering what would be brought up if I searched the word tulpa in the app store, and to my surprise I actually found something somewhat useful. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mytulpaad.rado It reminds you about your tulpa every random amount of time based on an average you can set yourself, and when you select the remider or open the app you can record basic statistics about your interactions since the last reminder. So if you're someone like me who has trouble remembering to talk to people, this could be really helpful. Crescendo November 8, 2015 November 8, 2015 I actually download this app every few months, and every time I'm like "ugh this app is just annoying", so it's uninstalled after a few days/weeks. Right now, I just have it (without reminder) on my home screen and changed the app name to the name of my tulpa, so I'll be reminded every time I look at my phone. Not how it's supposed to work, but eh, better than nothing I guess. The idea is to remain in a state of constant departure, while always arriving. Maja will either use name tags, [brackets] or this colour.
Luminesce November 8, 2015 November 8, 2015 Does anyone know if this is the app that member said they were going to make a long time ago? I thought I heard he'd actually made something, too, but I never actually looked into the app itself. Either way, it's good to see someone's ambition actually came to fruition. And to be honest Crescendo, that's the type of thing I would do lol.. But it works. I'm the type of person who can't stand alarm clocks, and wakes up specifically so I don't have to use one. kovyxen November 8, 2015 Author November 8, 2015 I've no idea if the creator of the app has or had any relation to Tulpa.Info, but I do remember the idea being mentioned when I was hanging around here sometime ago. That makes sense, lots of people are annoyed by something so invasive and direct. What you do is a pretty good idea to still find a use for the thing but leaving out the irritating bits. As for myself though, my mind has a habit of ignoring or tuning out anything that isn't as blunt or in my face, so I've been keeping the reminders on.
