God November 25, 2015 November 25, 2015 This is great! I was actually planning on making a post like this, and Im kinda glad somebody beat me to it. I would've made it too short and to the point. Thank you so much! Yours truly, God
Guest Anonymous November 25, 2015 November 25, 2015 Some tulpamancer somewhere, with a wish to be a god, has done this I have no doubt. The fact that the idea has been bantered around almost guarantees that.

Reisen November 25, 2015 November 25, 2015 Lucilyn: Well, for the short time I existed in a void alone with my host, I didn't really see him as a "god". Like, that's kind of a human thing I think, personifying the unknown as a mysterious power greater than them. He just sort of was. He was the other one I knew, and he knew me, and he said he was creating me as a tulpa. So I tried to understand what that entailed. I didn't really think to doubt him or really judge him in any way, his existence was just a fact. Uhhh. Well, now he's just the leader of the body to me. Like I could do his job, were it my job, but it's not. So I still just see him for what he is.. The person who came first and made us, who has more experience but is essentially the same. I think for a tulpa to see their host as a god they have to be really not aware of things and kept in the dark. Hi guys, plain text is just me now! We've each got our own accounts: me, Tewi, Flandre, and Lucilyn. We're Luminesce's tulpas. Here's our "Ask Thread", and here's our Progress Report (You should be able to see all of our accounts on the second page if you want)
FallFamily November 26, 2015 November 26, 2015 I've thought about this just as food-for-thought in the past. Not very ethical, but you could probably develop a tulpa without ever letting it know the outside world exists... Or that you exist. The idea always seemed interesting to me, having a tulpa-like thoughtform live in an extremely detailed wonderland without knowledge of their host or other outside things. But it's nothing more than an idea, because that's lab-rat levels of unethical. And wasted potential IMO. [Hail] Actually, it is pretty easy. Tri and E. were tulpas in such a situation. I made two daydream worlds and they were characters in them. I was in them too, but never declared who or what I was (to them, I was just another person there). This went on for a few years since I thought the worlds were only daydreams and Tri, E., and the others (yes, there were others) were daydream puppets. It was by coming here that I eventually learned what they were and then disclosed everything to them and showed them outerworld. We have only told two others inside those worlds, and not all of it. It is a bit traumatic, so we decided to not tell the rest of the inhabitants of those wonderlands. Interestingly, this is not an uncommon situation. I've seen other systems where this happened in both the tulpamancy community and in the wider plurality community. Funny thing in my system, but in the wonderland Tri is from, they met the classification of goddesses (both now and before I disclosed anything to them) and hid this from the other inhabitants while combined (combination of not feeling responsible enough for the position and shame for what most gods/desses there have done), though two of them didn't when separate. A bit of a different definition of god/dess there than what most people in outerworld use, though. I would trust them a lot more as goddesses than I would ever trust myself as one.
