I decided to start forcing tonight for the first time after doing a decent amount of research. I decided to use a combination of FAQ Man and Methos' guides, starting with personality development. I started with the "greeting stage" from Methos' guide, and almost immediately began feeling a strange pressure just below my left ear. After I finished the greeting stage about 30 minutes later and stopped forcing, the feeling began to quickly dissipate. A minute or so later I laid down again for about another hour and began doing more standard personality stuff, mostly the second method from FAQ's personality guide. Again I got the strange pressure, which this time was at the back of my head towards the bottom. Again this feeling dissipated as soon as I stopped forcing. I feel like this might be a sign of early rapid tulpa development, especially considering that strange pressures in the head area are a common development among those who are forcing. Is the fact that this started so quickly a sign that my tulpa may be developing at a rapid rate? Anyone have any similar experiences?

Have you given your tulpa a form and personality already, since you began forcing? If you did, then your tulpa is definitely developing. Personally, I don't believe there is a "rapid" way for a tulpa to develop...as things like sentience and vocality take time. The pressures are probably from the forcing itself, rather than your tulpa, since you've just started.

I think it could be a slight tension headache from concentrating too hard more than likely. I have never felt "head pressure" myself. I do get eye strain from staring at a blank wall too long. Also, tiredness from lack of sleep from too much day dreaming. Why would head pressure be an indicator of a rapid developing tulpa?

I highly doubt it's a sign of your tulpa. Like the others said, it's most likely just from concentrating on the forcing.

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

I really don't know about this. It could be a sign of your tulpa, when you didn't actively focus on the pressure point, but even than it isn't that much. So i wouldn't count on it. I don't know that much about head pressure since I basically never had any, but if it really was your tulpa you could ask it to stop it or switch the pressure point. If it can't it is problably nothing, like the others already said.

Tulpa: Alice

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

I got head pressure and such right when I started development as well. It took another month for Midori to start showing solid signs of liveliness.

You may want to just be patient, and continue your work. You don't need the forum to validate every half-step you make.
