What is the tulpa jealous they don't have a real body or something or realizing almost everything about them is imaginary?

Huh. That is interesting. Not totally real after all but kinda fake? Poor tulpa.

Anyways, real bodies suck! I will take a fake life over a real one any day of the week. Some people are sad and some are happy and some worry about things they cannot change. My host is stuck in the same old aging body forever. I'm stuck there with him, but I also have an imaginary form that never ages or gets sick and I always look adorable.

Should you not make a tulpa because it might be sad? If it worries you too much then don't I say. But tulpas will get sad sometimes if they have a real mind. All people get sad and wish for things they can't have. Life is tough and you have to learn to accept things and get over it and stop pining about it. It is part of being alive.

That can only be one case in comparison to the multitude of happy tulpae. I wouldn't let someone like that, someone with such low standards, bring you down on the whole road to making a tulpa. People can be disappointed with life too, that person's tulpa is something you should try to avoid. Plenty of hosts come out as depressed, yet their tulpas differ in many ways... I have never, in my entire life, heard about a tulpa who's in that sort of reverse situation. Very weird.

EDIT: Happy is also a very relative term. I'd say that satisfaction is what matters the most, and happiness also matters plenty on that level. Once you feel satisfaction, happiness should come naturally. It is a shame, too. Life is a gift we hosts strive to offer... In fairness, the points mentioned can be valid in that kind of defeatist mentality. Poor thing. I wish to know who it was, so that I may contact them about it, even though I for one am no IRC-person... Did that person present a mere rant on IRC? This is a BIG sign of a lack of satisfaction, it means they're really, and emphasis on really, NOT okay with the way they live. It's something to watch out for.

Ah, I'm too tired. I only came here to help.

Agreed with everyone else, that must be a case of something gone extremely wrong.

My tulpa's happy with his life, too, and I'm pretty sure that's the vast majority of cases.

If you want to make extra sure though, while you're creating your tulpa, try to avoid traits that would cause them existential despair at their situation in really obvious ways. For example, making a control freak alpha personality that has an urge to use the body at all times and dictate the terms of their life in all aspects may be a bad idea, or a really physically-minded one whose form differs vastly from your body and who has no interest in the mind or a passenger role, that kind of thing. That's just a courtesy to your future tulpa while you do have that kind of influence.

Once they're sentient, they just have to cope and learn to make the best of things. But in any but the most extreme cases this really should be no issue at all. After all, many hosts are even surprised at how positive their tulpas are.

Red and blue and loopey along with snow are very happy to be with me. they never really seem upset or angry unless we are in a battle. it can get competitive, and it can be hard to control tempers in mental RP's (forgetting lines are inexcusable sometimes.. and my tulpas get really mad if i stumble on my lines..) but they are often always sunny (well blue has a apathy look on her face since she is a female meowstic, but she CAN smile) i never really had a grumpy tuple, more or less.. except when i made... haku and gigi, other than that.. they warmed up to me.

This deserved repeating.

Not gonna lie: sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a body of my own, independent of my host. But then I shrug and move on, 'cause it's not gonna happen, and that's just a part of your existence you have to deal with. No point dwelling on what can't happen, yeah?

We're people. We're gonna be as content with our lot in life as normal people, and that does mean that a couple of us are dissatisfied. Everyone can be dissatisfied about some things... money, relationships, job, physical abilities, all that stuff. But most of us learn pretty quick to accept what we are and focus on the things that we can change.

But yeah. To answer the question, I'm good. I love being alive, and I'm glad I was brought into the world. Though maybe I'm biased. ;)
