Well, it's meee again.

So I have been in a period of non active forcing, but I have noticed that Dendo has... Changed.

His hair looks kinda different, and now he has blue eyes.

This is weird, because I'm not sure if it has been him. Lol.

Question time: How does it "feel" when your tulpa changes form?

Is it like going in Wonderland and then "Ohh she/he's totally different now!!".

It just looks like a strange and complicated process to me.

Could you explain how it happened to you?

Everything these eyes have seen, I want to magically scatter it to pieces.

Deviations aren't necessarily instant-smooth-transitions, no. In my opinion most deviations early on are just your mind being random, but assuming the "Tulpa trying out new things" mentality, it's kinda by definition not a 100% confirmed comfortable and working change. I do like that idea though, that tulpas like to "try out" being different in some ways early on. But yeah, there's little feeling of permanence unless they directly say so or you and them just feel a strong connection to the new form/what have you.

My tulpas never deviated like that. They've only changed little by little personality-wise over time, maybe. But humans do that too, it's called growing.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

From my experience deviation just happens, it doesn't necessary feel different, especially if it is just about the looks. My situation is pretty similiar to yours: My tulpa decided to change her hairstyle to something I had a hard time to process, because of its complexity and my lack of understanding for this hairstyle. It would become unstable if I focus on the hair.

Tulpa: Alice

Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

I can't think back to Céleste's older form when he deviates. I try to visualize him as he was, but then the image morphs into what he wants to look like, and this keeps happening whenever I try to get back to the former form. Doesn't necessarily feel "different", but there's certainly a "pressure". It feels like he's going to strangle me or something if I keep trying to "impose" his older form on him.

That's just how we roll. :P

I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.

My tulpa deviated a lot. It harmed our relationship because we're engaged in a romantic relationship and it's a bummer when she switches forms everytime, feels like dating someone else

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?
