DoctorSprocket July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Do you listen to music while tulpaforcing? Is it possible to properly do it while listening to music? What could happen? I'm seeing if I can listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CySNhHVAokQ I use it before I go to sleep and it relaxes me, I find it hard to have a flood of useless thoughts fly through when I play this. On a marginally unrelated note Here's a freaky song that sort of makes me imagine the creation of a tulpa in a purely musical way. Are there any songs you like to listen to? Name: Assistant Form: Human female Progress Report Last night I said I didn't have a name for her and was cut off with a reply. I couldn't hear the beginning properly but it sounded like Dori but I couldn't hear the first letter as clear and can't tell whether it was an N or a D What's her name?
SolEvil July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Stoner metal is the only thing I can listen to when I tulpaforce. I usually listen to Kyuss or Sleep or some Om. Stoner metal is really chill and the only thing that won't make me lose concentration while listening to it. Not sure how much it helps though. I like to put on the song Space Cadet, it's just so relaxing and chill, one of my favorite songs actually.
DoctorSprocket July 29, 2012 Author July 29, 2012 This is the song I want to play the most with my tulpa especially on a Saturday. She's a big fan of the band. Josh July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Also, I usually prefer silence, though I started off listening to this (NERD ALERT) Found it extremely calming, and somehow it seemed to add emotional "weight" to what I was doing with my tulpa.

ThatOneGuy July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Yes, you can force with whatever music feels right to you. We can't tell you what is or is not right because it's all up to you what you want to force to. I force to anything from Drum and Bass to Metal, simply because it allows me to clear my mind and focus on the notes/noise easily. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
glitchthe3rd July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 I like to listen to trance when I force, it's all a matter of what works best for your concentration. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR. Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
Guest Anonymous July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 It's indeed possible, and I listen to music while forcing more often than not. I'm a massive hipster with my music so I listen almost exclusively to IDM, ambient, drone, downtempo electronic, neo-psychedelia, underground experimental, and post-rock when tulpaforcing. IDM is especially perfect for tulpaforcing since it gives me quite a bit of nostalgia, which allows me to feel emotional responses much better. Ambient and drone are also perfect for entering a trance while forcing, which helps with visualization. If Marconi Union helps, I'd recommend listening to some Brian Eno, the father of ambient.
