DoctorSprocket July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Hello there, Dr.Sprocket here! I'm here to help you, the tulpamancers that are starting off, by changing your perception on what a tulpa is. You may think that a tulpa is a mentally generated being with it's own sentience that you have created. And you would be right. But also wrong. You see a tulpa is a person, a REAL person. It's true, a tulpa is no different than you or me and I mean that in almost every way, the only difference is that you have control over a physical body. You are the same, you have likes and dislikes, personality AND it took around 9 months and 100 hours of labour to make you. Ladies and gentlemen please take a moment to thank your mothers even if they aren't present. Now this may be the hard part to understand, but you yourself are a tulpa of sorts. But a tulpa isn't physical right? We'll to be perfectly frank you aren't either. You use the body like a machine, the real you is everything that isn't physical. Your dreams, fears, personality even your name. Sure you can write that down and hand me the paper and tell me, "See that's physical." but in truth it's not. The lines are on the paper true, but what they mean are completely made up. We as people assign meaning to the world around us. A chair is only a chair because we call it that, we give it the essence of a chair. What's the difference between a wooden bench and a wooden coffee table? You sit on one and you put things on another and these are essences that we've assigned to each of them. When you understand that we see the world around us a certain way because we are the ones who create the world that we understand. A cave can be scary to one person or fun to another so which is the real cave? Or is it a cave at all? Maybe it's a tunnel or anything else that we as observers assign the essence to. The world is made up of a perception, most of it is shared and some may deviate but it is all perceived and without perception it simply is. You are not physical when you are not being perceived you simply ARE. And that is what your tulpa is, it exists you just have to perceive it. It's not a trick or some sort of puppet it is another you, another being capable of perceiving the world it just shares your mind. And once you are able to perceive something that you cannot just see then your perception becomes your own to mold. There is that final thing that's similar between us and our tulpae. It's that when we were made we were blank, screaming little children with no thoughts at all other than our physical survival instincts and through time and repetition we were taught how to act by our parents and as time went on and repetition became increased we found ourselves with a filter a personality that by accident through all these different people forcing us into one belief and the next that we did become who we are today. We are continually being forced by other things be it media, school, friends or superiors each one by repeating something will create another filter for us and another trait that makes the tulpa that is us a little more deeper. And I wrote all this while NOT stoned. I know I have more to add but it'll be later. The purpose of this is to get people to see that tulpae already exist so that all they have to do is bring them out by perceiving them. If you want to understand more upon the subject of metaphysics and existentialism I suggest searching Rene Descartes and Immanuel Kant. I have more to write just not now. Yeah, I'm an athiestfag, what did you expect? Men do not simply have "souls". And when you reply to this, you going to say something like "THEN HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN TULPAE, ATHIESTFAG?" Then I'll say tulpae are a product of ones mind. They are conjured into existance by deluding yourself. What comes out may be "real" to you, but ask any tupper on tumblrs and stuff. Ask Glitchthe3rd, Nesterbones, or anyone with a tupper for that matter. The tuppers acknowledge they aren't "real", but they are "real" to you. Visa vis, a hallucination. TL;DR: not paranormal, none of that "matrix" bullshit. They are forced hallucinations, and we aren't vessels and have souls.

Anyways, it's not at all spiritual it's true, we are the product of being forced with ideas and traits from our parents back when we were infants and essentially had no personality, we didn't have a filter on the world. Then we learned good from bad how to talk and our filter develouped. We named things around us and the filter got stronger. But this filter in short how we process what we see, who we are. All the personality traits. You without personality is not you, when they think people they think personality you know things like "Oh he's a great person, talks strange and has a funny sense of humour." they rarely see the body as being purely it, we could tell the difference between a friend and someone who looks exactly like that friend. What I'm saying is that we are people with personality are a filter for information and act accordingly, but we also have the ability to make a second filter, this filter is our tulpae. The point is to know that they already exist- oh now I get it you just read the beginning which means you probably won't read this or maybe skim this like beginning and finish then bam you got the gist of it.
