Kadoh August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 Ok here we go: >you cannot make something from nothing >everything is matter >thoughts must be matter >matter is physical >Tulpae are thought forms >Tulpae are matter >therefore, Tulpae are real and in some way, physical. Thoughts? My opinions are all subject to change.
Slushie August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 First of all, this isn't really research. Second, there's a number of problems with your premise, not the least of which is that not everything is matter. Thirdly, this isn't really much of a revelation. Of course tulpas have some grounding in the physical world; they couldnt exist without your brain. That is the extent of their physical nature, however. Astral project on my face, brother!
Kadoh August 2, 2012 Author August 2, 2012 Wasn't sure where to put it, just gave it that title so people would look at it and I wasnt sure what else to call it. And what I mean is that they are physical matter of some sort, we someone who isn't new to this could do something with the thought. I was thinking through my year seven science schtuff and I thought this. I'm only fourteen don't be too hard on me haha My opinions are all subject to change.
bila bila August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 I was thinking through my year seven science schtuff and I thought this. I'm only fourteen don't be too hard on me haha my year seven science schtuff year seven Two things: 1) I really wonder how bad our school is a science 2) I really wonder why we are a Grammar school
Phi August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 1. Something can come from nothing. 2. Not everything is made of matter. 3. The projection of a thought is not physical. The only physical thing about thoughts are the neurons that are firing inside your brain.

Time to move to metaphysical.
Phi August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 Well if you believe that tulpae are made of energy that you feed them then......oh dear. Time to move to metaphysical. I never said that. 1. Science has theorized that something can come from nothing. It was how our universe was born. 2. Energy is not matter. 3. A tulpa is the product of the energy that your neurons use when they fire off in order to create the image, voice, and everything else of your tulpa.
FigN01 August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 The technical definition of matter is "that which occupies space and possesses rest mass" Some things that aren't matter: Electricity (free electrons)light (photons)gravity (don't even know what that is)anti-matter (which has been shown to exist) All of these things arise from matter, but they aren't matter. Similarly, tulpas arise from the matter of our brains, but they aren't matter either.
Phi August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 Electricity (free electrons)light (photons)gravity (don't even know what that is)anti-matter (which has been shown to exist) Gravity is a force. The weakest one in the universe. Poor gravity.
Kadoh August 2, 2012 Author August 2, 2012 I hope you know I'm not in year seven guys. And well I guess I learnt something here today. Also, the "Big Bang" was two dimensions touching, and because they aren't the same shape, New dimension formed. Or so I'm told. My opinions are all subject to change.
