Sands August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Well, when I listened to Fede's tones I always got very creeped out and couldn't listen to them without thinking someone would stab me from behind or something. Always thought it was just me and my overactive imagination plus weird sounds, but someone later was smart enough to ask Roswell what he thought of the tones. He said they were terrifying. So... Maybe it wasn't quite just me, eh? I could see that if a tupper felt very strongly about something, especially if it's fear, they let you know it so that you get away from the source of fear. Fenrir August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 If you want to know why people feared the dark it stems from early childhood where you would have had an overactive imagination and so would have light possitive hullicinations. These would usually occur during the night where your imagination would have warped the objects and blackness in to distorted things. In some cases this scares young people hense why a lot of children are afraid of the dark... However as the mind develops to occurs less but the fear of the dark has already been programmed in to the mind like an irrational fear of spiders for example .... Hope that answers the first part of your question?
Sands August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Okay, thanks, I think I'll take some precautions and stop using the tones for a while. If you've never had a problem with them and they've helped, no need to stop. All the tuppers are different, what mine finds horrifying yours probably doesn't. I mean, Roswell has said that he's afraid of the stairs that lead from his bedroom to the library. Yeah. That's Roswell. Gotta love those "confident" and "brave" traits. (He's yet to completely freak out when going down the stairs at least and has told me not to get rid of them because he wants to get used to them so maybe there is some hope for him yet) The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Pronas August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 I call this "personality bleeding" (cuz it's a cool name). It seems a lot of people get some temporary or permanent personality traits from their tulpa, like sometimes I just to go around hugging people and spreading love because my tulpa is like that -_-

It seems a lot of people get some temporary or permanent personality traits from their tulpa, like sometimes I just to go around hugging people and spreading love because my tulpa is like that -_- I wonder if that's happening to me. I designed my tulpa to be empathetic, and I've been feeling less narcissistic lately. On the other hand, I've also made a conscious effort to be more compassionate and less of an ass, so it could be totally unrelated to my tulpa. I'm also 20, which IIRC is about the time that the brain starts really developing a sense of empathy. But I'm not sure, I only vaguely remembering reading that on some blog or something... “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche

NED August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Fedes tones sometimes makes me feel the 'presence' of something/someone that scares me. But they also make forcing way easier so i ingnore the paranoia and use them anyway Name - Silver Form - Harpy Sentience - fully sentient Personality - Playful, cheerful, enthusiastic, chilled Smell - Baileys Stage - Narration and imposition

I'm with ya here, Sands. The tones are effective, but creepy shit always happens when I use them. I thought I heard someone kick down my door while listening to CF. When I finish listening for a session, I take off my buds and hear wierd ass choppy noises come out of the fan and enviroment, too. I don't like them, but their a effective tool. Right now their a necessary evil, so to speak.
