Character-based vs. purely original tulpa.

Well, not totally original since it's a pegasus that's MLP styled, but I went ahead and fit the form to the personality. Clair represents logic in everything, so she has a white coat with a black mane and a chess piece cutie mark. It would make a terrible OC pony, but it fits Clair like a glove.

Being a background character with no speaking lines, her personality obviously isn't very fleshed out, so a bit of originality is required here. Still trying to aim as close to the show as possible with her odd habits and shit

I am working on original pony, obviously based off the MLP style. She's going to be an alicorn and her appearance is completely my own creation. So I don't think there will be any identity issues.

My tulpa has ended up becoming a human Pinkie Pie (based on Megasweet's style), with only little resemblance of the show's personality, so I have no worries. Worrying is not good when making a tulpa.

I never really forced her form specifically past being a human, and currently she looks like a fair-skinned, thin, pink haired woman. I have to look down to see her eyes, so I'm assuming, like, 5' 8". Her facial features / age seem to keep changing, but right now she looks younger than me by a bit currently, maybe 20?

 

Also she seems to have a thing for blue shirts and the ugliest pants. Last night, it was a blue hoodie and dark green cargo pants. I need to talk to her about color coordination.

I based my tulpa's appreance on SevenNights's human Luna character from his ask blog. So effectivly, it's a personality loosly based on a character loosly based on another character.

 

So her personality is pretty much completly original, while I was too lazy to create an original appearence.
