Raetin August 7, 2012 August 7, 2012 Huh. That might be easier on my brain, With pictures of her at my disposal and everything. Also, Assuming you have already made a tulpa from an Anime, Is it important that she doesn't find out she's from an anime? So, Your tulpa stays in that wonderland, Until you "summon" it, And then you can see it in the physical world? Well, my tulpa looks like the one from the show, but different name and personality. As long as you tell them that they don't have to be like the one from the show and can deviate from it, it's fine. Hiding it is no use, they'll find out. For the wonderland, I just use it as a place they can stay until they become imposed. I also do my visualization sessions there. They can also stay there if, say your in a crowded room or they want to do their own thing. I heard that the wonderland is as real to them as real life is to us (I think). I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently. Progress Report
QB2 August 7, 2012 August 7, 2012 They're gonna find out anyway, and they probably won't care, as long as it's made perfectly clear that the person in the anime is not the same person as them. You must allow for individual growth. By the time they're completed, they'll have their own opinions that may wildly differ from the opinions of this character, so it's important that they aren't pressured into thinking that they "should be like the original". The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Bluecoolman August 7, 2012 Author August 7, 2012 One final question (Maybe) Would you recommend making my own character, Or basing her off of mai waifu?
Raetin August 7, 2012 August 7, 2012 Depends, who's your waifu?? >_> Really, it's up to you, what ever I say is my own opinion. I think making an original would be better, because it's original. I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently. Progress Report
QB2 August 7, 2012 August 7, 2012 Your own character's probably your best bet. For the most part tulpas enjoy individuality, and having a "double" in popular fiction who's the "real" one gets varying degrees of annoyance out of them, and it can sometimes interfere with your own perception of them. But not always. You're pretty much safe either way. And the process of creating a tulpa is a very individualized thing, so maybe one works better for you than the other, who knows. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Malix August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 My tulpa on looking like another character: "She can be the 'real' one and I'll be the better one.." And a tulpa is more real than a fictional character anyway. Tulpa: Name: Elyse (Elly) Birthday: 29th May, 2012 Physical description: 5"8 thin human girl. self-identified age 18. ~1ft, vivid red hair sometimes in a ponytail. light-skinned. green eyes. Progress: entirely vocal, speaks often, but only 1 hallucination; her saying "Hiiii". Great at possession.
Guest August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 OC or not? Depends on the person. Backstory or not? Depends on the person. Wonderland or not? Depends on the person. Parrot or not? Depends on the person. Sex or not? Depends on the person. Imposition or not? Depends on the person. Possession or not? Depends on the person. It all depends on the person, so please, everyone stop making half-assed claims, even if you manage to sneak in a "who knows" at the end.
