Jamie November 3, 2019 November 3, 2019 A lil bit, not gonna lie. Eeeeee I'm going to get a car! I never thought I'd get a car... my sister only got a car because my granddad needed a more accessible car and he had paid off his old van... But my mom is getting 60k from cashing out a pension, so she's going to buy a car for maybe 10k, and she told me that means I'll get her Toyota Avalon, the car I've been learning to drive in. Assuming everything works out, by this summer I'll have my liscence and a car, so no reason not to look for work... nice, I'm happy. I need to get my name changed, but that was also on hold because of money mostly, so hah! Just a matter of bueacracy, really, now. And we got the furnance fixed! It's no longer 40 degrees in my room. And I bought a big ass bottle of ibuprofen and more melatonin... People who say money won't make you happy clearly haven't slept in a freezing room because they don't have the money to fix it. I don't need an excess of money, I just need enough. I like minimalism and frugality but I also like painkillers and good food and warmth, sometimes even toys and art. I still feel guilty sometimes, though :P That money DID make me happy, that certain material things matter so much to my state of mind... -J The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side.
