We got a new one a few years back with the string lights pre-attatched because of our audacious cat. You can also try resale/thrift stores. I was at the warehouse side of one just yesterday, and I'm telling you, I saw 5 Christmas trees in just one lot of stuff. A big tree-y hedge is also an option, depending on where you live.
