This is gonna sound really weird, but when I forced today, I got this really strange feeling, like I was kind of moving around and being pulled out of my body. It's hard to describe, but it's sort of like I felt a lot like I was moving around a lot, but my body was still. I am sick and do hallucinate a lot when sick (I feel like I'm gonna kill everyone by doing something, not sure what, but I told my mum to kill me so I didn't end up killing everyone) yeah.... That's it. Kind of feel like its a response from Shin, as he was in my dream recently.

Happens to me all the freaking time when I enter hypnagogia. I just sit back on my chair and randomly think of a scene. Then, I try to do an action or respond to a character, only to jump back to reality.

Perhaps you're being hypnagogic when you're sick?

It's pretty common when you're entering deep relaxation, I think. I get it a lot.

Pretty sure OBE is not common when entering deep relaxation.

KadohAndShinigami: Was there any sensation of being "pushed" out? I ask because of this (in the last and longest section of the post).

It's not that feel like when you are reading or something and your just about to fall asleep and you feel like your falling, the easiest way to explain it is that, imagine when you are really dizzy and the world spins? It was kinda like that, I felt super disconnected and (inb4 this gets moved to metaphysics) like my souls of someshit was rolling, like I was was lying there forcing and really getting into it, then suddenly I'm weightless and I'm rolling in the air, but I can still feel my physical body lying in my bed. I could still force like this, it was maybe five seconds long or more, happened twice. Also happened a tiny bit a while ago while I was doing butterfly in the pool racing some people, but I didn't feel like I was rolling, and it was more mild. Fun Fact! One time I was sick, I was dreaming (I had no idea, it was as real as anything, I could feel the ground under my feet and everything) and I walked into my room and there were huge fucking camel spiders on it. I dismissed them, thinking they were an illusion. Well, I sat on my bed and could feel the fucker under my butt or whatever. I went absolutely apeshit, jumped out of bed (wondering how I teleported in, I thought it was real) and ran into my parents room and made them check for me. can't blame me, I was like thirteen and a wuss, and they err fucking camel spiders. That's the kind of vivid shit I can get when I'm sick.

Sounds like astral projection.

That would be amazing.

New Member here, I'll try not to stink up the joint with my ignorance.

Sometimes when I force or just focus on visualizing something I get a similar feeling, like my lower body is being twisted on way and my upper body is being twisted the other way. the only problem is it last for a few seconds and then goes away, but then I usually have difficulty re-focusing and am forced to end the session, Idk if i'm not trying hard enough or if I just need to keep doing this.

I can't say I've had a full OBE, but sometimes when I'm in a forcing session with Dream, I do feel myself feeling markedly lighter and - well - kinda "floaty." It's tough to describe. It doesn't actually feel like I leave my body or anything, but more like I'm just barely hanging on while I'm deep in conversation with her. All of my focus is inside my skull. Everything else just sort of drifts off.

These last two people sound like they're experiencing fairly normal effects of deep relaxation. Try different positions or get used to it.
