Tulpas venturing out on their own! Tulpas gone wild!

My social life is primarily offline. I venture out in the physical world and interact with people as myself who don't know my host. My closest friends are all still people my host introduced me to, but I've only been switching regularly for a little over six months, so that will probably change. I don't think I could have a really close friend who didn't know my situation.

 

Mainly, we share online accounts, like this one, to facilitate using them together. But I do have my own email address now, so that I could have my own Meetup.com account, so I could be a member of different Meetup groups under my own name and have a separate offline social life based on my own interests.

 

In a sense I now have my own laptop and smartphone, purchased at my insistence, since I'm not a Luddite like my host and don't hold stubbornly to failing ten year old technology just because I'm used to it. (She likes to show off that *her* phone is cool because it has a hinge.)

I haven't gone outside of Tulpa-related social media...yet...

 

I haven't toyed with the idea of having my own social media accounts for something like a video game discord or whatnot too much, however Cat thought of a story idea where a Tulpa accidentally dates a coworker via a dating site.

 

I have a Snapchat account I use to talk to a friend (she knows I'm a Tulpa though, so I don't know if that counts...).

So I joined a server ran by a club at our school. Never been to this club in person. And wow, do I feel out-of-place there, like I'm too "eccentric" or something. I feel like I'm just going to stick out. Could be paranoia, though. 

 

They all think I'm a guy in the server though, and I really like that. I'm going by "Felix" there. I don't really want to show up at the club IRL because then they'll start thinking I'm a girl. Oh well.
