I'll Do Art for Free!

I draw completely on the computer using the firealpaca art program and a normal computer mouse.  I also sometimes use MS Paint.

 

Drawing via computer mouse is impressive. Usually my hand gets shaky and it's hard to get the lines I want.

It takes a lot of practice. I have been using a mouse for several years but I remember it being very hard to control at first. Some programs have a 'correction' setting which will help you straighten your lines out better when you have it up higher.

You should totally look into getting a tablet if you're able. Cheaper ones go for about $30, more if you want a bigger size. They make drawing a lot easier and quicker, compared to a mouse, which is like drawing with a rock, lol.

I tried a tablet before but it is really strange for me. I kept finding myself reaching for the mouse without meaning to. I have tried using one recently that my friend has and was able to make a headshot. However it did take me an hour when usually it would have taken like ten minutes. I will eventually get one but it is going to be very frustrating moving over to it.

Yay, fellow mouser! I love to use the mouse too. We're practicing to be as good with Gimp/MS Paint as we are with pencil. I'm going to check out firealpaca, can you say anything about it?

 

We like the mouse because we can sit back in our recliner with the laptop and mouse on a custom board.

edit: do you have a pic of Gradient because at the moment i cant get to toyhouse and plus i dont have a invite code,i been trying to offer free commissions if someone had one but no replies.
