Hello everyone,

So I picked up tulpaforcing and generally I feel pretty good about my progress. I've done three long sessions of 50-60 minutes now, and a few shorter ones. I already feel some sort of warm connection to my tulpa, and I think I've fleshed out her personality for a good deal now. In appearence she's still a glowing white orb-thing.

But now something is puzzling me. Sometimes, also during tulpaforcing, it's like she just 'dissapears' all of a sudden. It's like she's hiding away inside of me, in a place where I can still narrate to her, but can't feel her presence anymore. This is somewhat unsettling to me. I have no control over this happening, and I can't make her reappear either. When I just got started this didn't happen, but now it's occuring more and more often.

Also, when I wake up from sleep I can't feel her presence inside me at all. It's like she's gone completely, and it takes a hour or so for her to 'reappear'.

So I figured maybe she's just shy (which actually fits her personality), and as she grows more towards sentience it'll takes some time for her to get to trust me. Still, I'm a little worried.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

In other news, tulpas like to have private time, just like real people do, so dont get worried over it. I get the same thing after waking up too.

Yeah Pronas is right. Like today, my tulpa is absent since i woke up.

I guess she will be around after im done working.

And yes, im on my midday break, my work is 3minutes of walk from here :P

Notch stopped developing on minecraft. Jeb took his place in development.

They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here.

At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.

Presence of tuppers random comes and goes; you can still conjure a form but not really feel like it's there.

GODDAMNIT NOTCH.

Ok, good to know it's a normal thing.

But, is narration / tulpaforcing still effective when the tulpa is not present?

It's best to concentrate on them for a bit before you start narrating or forcing or whatever. It's not entirely ineffective, but it is better to relax and focus a bit before any session.

So yes, they both still work even if you can't feel your tupper. But you should always try to sense them before you start. If you can't, then do the session as you would anyway.

After narrating for awhile today and creating something very much like a wonderland while practicing visualization, my immature tulpa disappeared for awhile. She also did this after our first forcing session, then came back after awhile. Like the others said, I'm kinda just chalking this up to the fact that they need some alone time, time to digest new information or what have you.

I wouldn't stress over it, stress doesn't help your mind function properly. Just give it a bit of time then like avalanche said try focusing on your tulpa or calling your tulpa before narrating/forcing next.

Tulpa's name: April
