Oguigi August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 Hey guys, am busy with my tulpa and for quite some time i've been calling her "Stasha" however it seems that everytime i mentally or physically out loud call her name, it seems as if i get injected with the thought that she wants to be called something else. it seems like she wants to be called "Oguigi", this is a pain to say out loud, and i told her that i'll keep calling her "stasha" she seems to go with it at first but quickly grew restless, and now supposedly we had a little mental agrument and now she's calling me by another name. which is "max" by the way. this is normal right guys? I told her that i'll let you guys on the forums have a say. pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Charles August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 Speaking from experience, she'll wear you down eventually. Compromise while you can and find something you both like.
QB2 August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 Totally normal. Tulpas are people. Solve the problem the same way you would when arguing with a friend... Edit: Well, not exactly the same way, since with your friend you don't have the option to bend their universe to suit their needs. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Frosty August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 Oguigi huh? Even Google doesn't have an answer for that one... Normally I'd say let them pick whatever they want to be called, but if you really don't want that to be their name, I'm sure you could try to find a compromise. Are you positive she said Oguigi? During the early stages of vocalization I've heard tulpae can be a bit hard to understand. Oguigi August 26, 2012 Author August 26, 2012 Oguigi huh? Even Google doesn't have an answer for that one... Normally I'd say let them pick whatever they want to be called, but if you really don't want that to be their name, I'm sure you could try to find a compromise. Are you positive she said Oguigi? During the early stages of vocalization I've heard tulpae can be a bit hard to understand. We haven't reached a stage where i can physically hear her out loud, right now it's more like mental talk, and i have a software that can directly say text at loud and when i put in the words "Oguigi" i've instantly felt a uncanny shock to how Accurate that name sounded to the one she wanted, she confirmed that this is how the name sounded/ and thus spelt. I kind of love her too much to just outright reject a name she chose for herself and apparently wants, so i told her that i will try to make "Oguigi" work I'll eventually get use to calling her it. after that she started calling by my real name again and that was that. _____________________ Oguigi is a interesting name, neither sounds masculine or feminine pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Pashoo August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 ... So exactly how DOES one go about pronouncing that? Oh-gooEE-gee? Aw-GAI-gee? An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.

Kiahdaj August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 ... So exactly how DOES one go about pronouncing that? Oh-gooEE-gee? Aw-GAI-gee? I have a feeling it's the first. -crosses fingers- "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Oguigi August 26, 2012 Author August 26, 2012 ... So exactly how DOES one go about pronouncing that? Oh-gooEE-gee? Aw-GAI-gee? well this is how i say it. first imagine the word "Luigi" unless someone been living in a cave since the 21st century you should know how that name sounds. now pronouce "Og" and then combine the two Og-uigi oguigi go to this site http://imtranslator.net/translate-and-speak/ and put in the name oguigi pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Pashoo August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 Who's Luigi? I dunno what to do. Eeeeehh In all seriousness, that's quite a name. Does that have a basis in any language, or is it just an amalgamate of mouth sounds? An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.
