I'm going to go ahead and say coincidence, but it's still important all the same.

Nice necro-bump, kingfisher.

Anyway...

I never counted hours and my tulpa was sentient within the first 5 days.

She spoke to me for the first time after what I can only estimate to be less than 20 hours of forcing.

It seems like all it takes to make a tulpa is to allocate them part of your brain and believe that they're using it.

The hour count is only a measure of how long it takes to convince yourself that that part of your brain can function independently from your conscious thought.

As if you could decide which part of your brain your tulpa "resides" in.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Chill out, It's just a theory.

...And that's irrelevant. You don't need to decide which part - you just allocate them space.

You can compare it to making a virtual machine on a computer. You allocate space on a Hard drive, but you have no idea where on the actual disk your computer will write the data or which RAM chips it puts it on while it's running.

I just don't see why there's any need to look at it in such a way.

The very fact that they exist, means they already occupy space in your brain; you don't have to make it a point to give it to them.

And I'm not really sure you can compare the brain to a hard drive like that. I mean, if your tulpa was "located" in the basal ganglia, or mostly any other part of the brain, they wouldn't likely be able to function, or anything. I imagine there are only a small number of locations in the brain (if even more than one) that your tulpa's consciousness could be located, for it to actually be able to "work". Whereas, when it comes to a hard drive, it doesn't matter where you put the information.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

I did tell you not to take me seriously.

I can't expect you do understand the way I think.

You're making a big deal out of I theory I came up with in a moment of boredom..

My imaginary friend is so sentient, you wouldn't even know it, because you aren't.

Burrrrn.

Worried about anything? Used mantras to help you fix it.

Found through Fede.

It's like Fede finds and shares helpful things or something woah if only he wasn't banned because of group mentality hatred and not being able to tell a joke. Has he ever insulted your tulpa? If he did, didn't they get all butt frustrated and respond? There you go. Responses through joking.

P.S.S.

Tulpas is the superior plural.
